Great burgers with lots of traditional and non-traditional toppings. Solid 5 for the burgers. French fries are average. Deep-fried mac and cheese, cheese curds? A must-try!
I loved the truffle fries, great toppings on top of hot and crispy fries! The melting pot cheeseburger complimented it perfectly. The cheese combination works so well. It's no surprise this place has been popular in Madison for so long!
Dotty’s is my favorite local restaurant. I love their Poutine and cheese curds. They also have the BEST burgers you’ll ever taste. The atmosphere in the os always fun and inviting. If you go to Madison, this is THE restaurant you have to add to your list.
Cheese curds with ranch = AMAZING. Burgers were good also but the cheese curds were awesome. Fast service also. We will be back.
Never had such a great burger. Honestly perfectly cooked and perfect amount of toppings and my god that garlic sauce. No to mention their truffle fries are actually to die for
We went on a Friday before a Badger basketball game. Although they were packed, the restaurant was well organized. One couple had burgers and we split the walleye fish fry. Burgers were excellent, fish was thinly breaded and excellent. Tartar sauce was tasty. Waitress was friendly and efficient. Definitely will visit again.

I’ve been on the hunt for the best burger in Madison, and as many have gone and said before me, I think I may have found it. It was so good, and they have so many to choose from. I could honestly keep going back to try all of them! But be warned…they are an ABSOLUTE MESS!!! so so good!!
This has been my go to place for hamburgers for years. Even though the restaurant has moved several times and now feels a bit more upscale, the food and beer remain very good.
