Great service. Extensive beer menu. Terrific food including a Beyond vegan burger. Truly helpful staff. We will be back
Fish was awesome, service was excellent, very friendly staff, and a perfect beer selection. Dexter's is a great spot all around!
Treated rudely by hostess We arrived and as usual we walked outside where there at least three empty tables. The waitress told us we needed to check with the hostess inside who was absent when we walked in. Fine. Finally the hostess showed up and we told her we wanted to sit outside. She told us 20 minutes (?) All these empty tables. She said they are reserved for customers having dinner. I told her that was the plan. She handed us the buzzer and said 20 minutes. We are regular customers. Total turn off. I am surprised at the bad customer service when even inside there where plenty of empty tables, unusual for Dexters Fish Fry night
Amazing food. I am definitely going back for their food. Especially when you are craving for some good French Fries.
Every time I'm here it's always busy! That shows the good food that they have. My only complaint is that my brussel sprouts were far too overdone. Besides that drinks, service, food is delicious.
Huge drink selection and very delicious food. They also have lots of gluten free and vegan options for everyone. Great atmosphere and the staff is very welcoming. Highly recommend!!
I've been there back when it was Steven's, when it was The Sandlot; probably 30 years of a 36 year life. When my wife and I were being a house one of the factors was a good bar in walking distance. We live about two blocks away.Good food, frequent rotation of specialty beers but also bottles and cans of traditional stuff. I know some of the staff through other channels and they all say management and ownership are great.
From start to finish this place was great. We had about a 40 minute wait on a Friday at about 6:00. Got to have a couple old fashions at the bar. Highly recommend the pretzel as an app. We all got a different kind of fish and they were all great. Great spot.
Dexter had some great cheese curds! I got a burger and the bun was so soft and fluffy! The fries are perfectly cooked! The service was fast and friendly!
Worst bartender of all time. She was rude, and had a horrible personality. My family is from England and had some pull tabs to get reimbursed. Said “Pull tabs? I’m so busy, and your not even American.”. Then didn’t want to give me a sample of beer if I wasn’t interested in buying it. Absolutely worst bartender who shouldn’t be in the industry if she doesn’t understand basic human kindness.
