Casual diner style restaurant that looks like it was frozen in time in the early 1990s. It was pretty busy when we visited, but they still got us seated and taken care of pretty quickly. The food was good and my whole group left fat and happy. I will certainly return.
I remember going here as a kid like 20+ years ago. I don't remember it then, but everything was excellent today. Food was made well, tasted great, service was perfect as well. Nothing negative to say at all.
The food is pretty good. And the service is surprisingly fast given how busy they always are. They aren't the *most* amazing pancakes/hashbrowns you've ever had, but they are a consistent 4/5 and I never regret having eaten there.
First time being there yesterday and the food was amazing.great service it has a homey atmosphere.
Crazy as a life long resident of Madison and even Fitchburg I've never been here. And I've been to vitense plenty. Therefore I give them 5 stars simply for surviving the plandemic and being in a legit business for decades. They have exceeded most all restaurant expectations, most fail within 2 years.
My meal is coming out in pieces it took forever the server doesn’t say thank you or your welcome. My order was wrong multiple times. Yet I’m still expecting to tip like I received good service. This food is bland and They need to update the menu seriously!!!I forced myself to eat the toast an steak!! Very disgusted an very disappointed I’m going to end up eating someplace else within an hour

I would give this place zero stars if I could. No staff wearing masks today. There is a mask mandate today and when we asked staff about that after we were seated the waitress said “I don’t know about it.” So we just mentioned there is one starting today. We still ordered and didn’t think much of it. The waitress went back to the server area and all of them were talking loudly about it-another waitress told us what is the point if they have to walk and take orders to wear a mask. We left. We didn’t need any back talk about it. If u care about mask wearing-don’t go. Never will again! Poor and rude servers.
Good solid breakfast!! Coffee isn't as good as Pancake House though. Surprised there wasn't a wait! We got there at 10:15a.
Went on a Monday at noon. Server was very friendly, very fast at getting our drinks and quick at getting our food to us while it was hot. Menu is huge, has burgers, sandwiches salads, breakfast, kids menu and senior menu. My chicken sandwich came with soup and fries. I loved the creamy rice chicken soup and the French fries were super crispy. I ordered a side of ranch to dip them in and the ranch and fries might be my favorite fry combo ever. But my chicken sandwich was very over cooked and only ate a few bites of it. Rest of my family loved their food though. It seems to cater to seniors a bit more but I would go back if I visit again, just for the fries!
