Decent prices and good coffee. Underrated sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches especially. Although it’s a chain love the variety in location layout, alway in really cool spaces!
Cozy little coffee shop just a short walk from Lake Wingra with great coffee, delectable bakery items, fresh food, and friendly staff. I love sitting here to read, or grabbing my coffee to go and heading over to Wingra Park.
Great interior space, super cozy, but definitely very busy on the weekend! Might not get seating. Coffee is fantastic and they've got a very diverse selection of pastries and savory food.
When they’ve not run out of a drink or baked food that I’m looking to order, this is a good coffee shop option in the area. Ordering through the app is a great convenience.
I have a medical situation, I know Covid has people scared but I cant wear a mask with out the possibility of passing out. I was told I have to wear a mask to order food, otherwise I had to wait out doors in 20 degree weather while my family ordered ( they had mask on). Once they got the food I come come in and eat without a mask. Keep in mind 60+ percent of the building did not have mask on because they had food in their mouths. Medical disclination is what I say. Do NOT eat here, they don't care about you and your needs. Also, the employee who originally asked me to wear a mask and handed me one; she touched her mask before she put her hands in the box contaminating the whole thing.
I was greeted nicely. The shop was slow with no one waiting for drinks and 6 employees that I could see. I waited 20 min for a small hot cocoa that I thought was a latte because it was over $5. (Perhaps my mistake) The baristas were still dialing in the espresso machine at 7:30am and clearly having difficulty, which maybe should’ve been done at open. Overall just kind of disappointed with the wait time considering all the employees slowly messing around with the machines. I appreciate a well made drink, but this was maybe the slowest service I’ve seen.
Great coffee and muffins. Really big waiting area. Big deal with COVID...
Very good coffee and breakfast options. Staff is very friendly and the place has a very cozy feel.
Great ambience. Incredible bonfire mocha
They just close the place at random hours whenever they feel like it I guess? I’ve walked here a few times during posted hours and it’s been closed with a hastily handwritten sign on the door saying “sorry” or somesuch. Also, when it is actually open it’s amazing to me how dirty the floors, rugs and bathrooms are. It’s like they barely clean anything at all and the place has the feel of a grimy downtown “too much traffic, too little maintenance, no one cares” shop even though it’s only been here a few years. The fireplace is nice but I’m really pretty leery of the cleanliness of the sofa and chairs next to it. Was a nice place but really seems to have gone downhill over the last year or so.
