This has got to be worst Chili’s I’ve ever been to. Ever. Took 10 min to even be acknowledged by someone. I was there with my family and another family came in right after us. We all stood there dumbfounded that no one could care to take the time to seat us. Finally the hostess or manager whoever he was (no apology for the wait) seats us. Doesn’t say anything. Not have a good meal, nothing. Come to find out we think he was the manager. Seriously sad and ridiculous that he could be a manager there. Literally the majority of the staff looked like zombies and could care less to have a job or not. I get places are short staffed these days, but at least “try” to not look miserable or apologize for long wait times. The only reason I gave this horrible experience 2 stars was because our waitress was kind and seemed to be trying her best. She was the only one I saw there act like she somewhat cared. Our salsa for the chips and salsa was pure water. My chicken strips were like rubber. Fries were undercooked. Over all just bad, bad experience. Not coming back anytime soon. Please do better.
We went there for my daughter's 21st birthday, on a Tuesday evening in May of 2022. They were understaffed to say the least. The dining room floor and chairs were sticky, and a server handed my daughter a very hot plate without telling her it was hot until she was already holding it. She mildly burned her fingers and was offered nothing to soothe them, or as a token of her birthday. The take home containers for her uneaten food didn't close properly or stay closed either. All in all, a very disappointing night out. Will, our waiter was the exception. I would give him a solid 4 star rating for sure! He was definitely worth a separate mention in my overall review, and brought their overall score up to 2 stars.
My son and I ordered drinks and it took 20 min to get mine ONLY after I asked her if I was getting it. After another 15 min finally was able to order. We get our food in a timely manner. I order another drink but it did not come w sugar (margaritas). I ended up asking the manager and he said he would give it to me for free. I asked him get another one w sugar but he said he would take it off the menu. Fine by me. Food was ok. I could tell my waitress was upset that I spoke to manager. Now this waitress also forgot someone's soup and tried to give another customer soup when they ordered salad. I ask for my bill. I was charged more for the margarita. I call her over and proceed to ask and turn to point to the promotion on the table and this old hag walks away in mid conversation. My son looked at me in disbelief. I WAS PISSED. I stand up to go speak to the manager and told him what happened in a calm voice. She said she did that because she knew what happened. By this point I just wanted to pay my bill and leave. I go sit down to wait for him to give me my new bill. He walks over to give it to me and to apologize and then leaves. I get my cash and try to give it to her to pay and get my change back. She continues to walk past my table and says that the manager is going to take care of me with this very angry look on her face. So then she tells the manager to take the money from me and he said no that she had to do it. As she walks to my table she says I don't know what's going on but I'm scared. at this point I jumped up and wanted to charge at her so bad but I walked up to the manager and I told him what she said and she said that yes she did say that because she was scared. I told her that I didn't do anything to make her feel that way I was just asking questions and confused about the pricing on the bill. I could not believe that she said that. I was in complete disbelief as I did not show her any reason to be scared. Then I asked the manager if it was because I was Mexican and if she had a problem with people of color. That was my only other thing to go to because again I did not do anything wrong. By that time I was really upset and I told the manager to just take my money and give me my change so my son and I could get the hell out of there. My son is sitting there and looking at all of this unfold not really knowing what to say because I was still confused about why she was so scared. The manager ended up coming back give me my money back and telling me that I didn't have to pay. I told him I don't like not paying for my food and I wanted to pay for my food and actually demanded that he take my money but he kept refusing to do so. I did not leave her a tip and I grabbed my money and left. I do not recommend that place. I've always gone to the West Side location and have had no problems there. I understand that people are short-staffed. I understand that people are very busy. But the way she, this older like 50 60 year old waitress treated me was disgusting and appalling.
This has got to literally be the worst experience I've ever had when it comes to going to a restaurant to pick up food. The first day I went there a few weeks ago I went to go pick up some food for my brother's birthday. I went to the front of the store and they told me that since I was here for a pickup that I should go to the back which I did. When I went to the back I stood around for a few minutes and the employees working in the kitchen saw me standing and instead of coming to address me and ask me what I would like or what I need they kept on going about their business as if I was not there. I had to literally yell excuse me two times before someone finally came to me to give me my food. Then 2 days ago I went there to go pick up food for myself. I had called hours ahead of time and told them that I wanted the food ready by 1:00 p.m. I ended up getting there by about 1:20 p.m. and went through the back door right away because that was the section I was supposed to go through to get to the food pickup area. When I got there, there were a bunch of people again working in the kitchen. I was not acknowledged or addressed. They just completely ignored me. I waited for a minute to see if someone would eventually come up to me and address my presence there and no one did. Then I yelled "Hello!" and they kept on going about their business walking around and ignoring me as if I was not there. Then I directly addressed one of the women who was cooking or preparing something at the moment and I said excuse me, is there not anyone that can come and help me? And she just looked at me and said "I'm making your food right now. Are you not so and so?" And I said yes I am and she said "I'm making your food right now" in a very rude and condescending way. I told her "well someone should have answered me or said something or at least address me" and she completely ignored me. I will never be going back to that restaurant again. Very rude people and horrible customer service.
I understand the negative reviews and my wife and I have walked out 2 times in the last 3 months due to waiting and not enough staff. Tonight our family went and service was wonderful. The food was flavorful and warm. Our waitress Lydia was pleasant and emitted a very warm and positive attitude.
The hostess was annoying asks us if we are a rewards member and after we said yes she didn't tell us what that gets us. Tons of menus but oh no we had to share one because everything is digital now. The waitress was okay. But when it came time to pay, the machine had gunk on it and we told her about it and she never cleaned it off. Couldn't see an option to pay with a gift card or cash. Food was medicore. Chips and salsa were supposed to be complimentary but the waitress had to go in and make it complimentary. Hopefully the next time we go to chili's cause we gotta use the gift card it's a better experience.
I placed an order online through The Chili’s website I had ordered two kids meals that states on the website of the kids meals included drink but when you try to order the kids meals there’s nowhere to order the drink. I tried calling the restaurant but whoever was manning the Togo desk just picked up the phone handset and placed it in the counter. I could hear the restaurant sounds and the servers but no picked up to help. I tried calling back to talk with a manager but spent 10 minutes on hold only to be eventually kicked out. Called twice more with the same thing happening. This was our second try with this restaurant, had received lower quality food on a previous attempt, better food eating in
This location is terrible. They do NOT honor curbside and makes you go inside. This Chilis does not inform you they have no to go cups for your to go order. They provide NO compensation for failure to provide what is ordered. Despite being a kind, polite, loyal customer, staff is incredibly Rude and Disrespectful. Smaller than usual portions and Cold food. Never go here! Chili’s does not deserve your business.
30 min wait time to regular table with hardly anyone in restaraunte--3 tables with people outside bar and 4 in bar area with 2 cooks, 1 server, 1 bar person and 1 hostess; did not receive what ordered, dust on cabinets, only 1/2 door to kitchen that was crooked, floors filthy, cooks yelling at servers, spots on glasses, tortillas crumbled and hard, cheese crusty, hamburger bun edges burnt, and hamburger meat grease pooling on plate; oh and 1/2 of basket of tortilla chips all broken to pieces and chili greasy. Manager not responsive.
Worst dining experience. We were at restaurant at 8PM hoping restaurant will be open until 10 as listed online. But they mentioned restaurant is closing at 8:30. The bar section was closed and we didn’t have a chance to order drinks, No one even asked us about the food taste. Desert was served along with appetizers. Hope someone take responsibility and treat customers well
