Wish we could rate the Caspian Grill higher than 5 stars!! Where to begin with describing our exceptional experience at this wonderful restaurant? Upon entering, we were greeted warmly by one of the gracious owners, who provided us with such perfect service throughout our dinner, and as first time customers, we loved the ambiance and coziness of the little restaurant as well! The wonderful menu sounded delectable, and had us immediately planning what we’ll order the next time we dine here!The food… WOWWWW… We ordered the Mix for Two, which was a feast for the senses - a gorgeous and colorful platter of fabulously flavored tender chicken and lamb kabobs, outstanding grilled vegetable kabobs, an absolutely wonderful rice, a salad that was so fresh and delightful with a perfectly subtle and delicious dressing, all atop two pitas - and the two sauces were also outstanding! Oh, and the pot of their delectable homemade tea was the perfect pairing with this fabulous meal as well as the heavenly (and almost too gorgeous to eat!!) honey cake and the baklava! We took photos but none of them would do justice to this magical evening, so you will just have to come here and experience this beautiful restaurant yourself! Lastly, both of the owners were so very lovely to us and made our experience here one that we look forward to repeating many, many more times - we recently moved to Madison and can’t wait to return to this exceptional little gem and explore more of their Azerbaijani cuisine and hospitality! The atmosphere was calm, good vibe. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. They make everything from scratch. The food was very tasty.

This was one of the best experiences I have a had in a long time. The person (didn’t catch his name) was so nice and polite, very welcoming. Ordered the chicken breast kabob meal. So yummy and fresh. Also ordered a side of hummus, best hummus I ever had. 10/10 will recommend this place to everyone.

One of the best chicken kabobs I’ve ever had! I’ve traveled to more than 40 countries and seek out Mediterranean food a lot of places I travel. The lightly-spiced chicken kabobs here were insanely good. I ate here for a late lunch today. I’m planning on coming back tomorrow. This place is special.
We were so glad we came to Caspian Grill after finding our first restaurant choice was carryout only (and we had nowhere to carry to). The storefront is deceptively small, but opens up on the side to a few small tables. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with unfamiliar items. We were glad we ordered the dinner with our tender and succulent chicken kebab - buttery rice and crisp, lightly dressed salad all served on a flatbread big as the plate, which soaked up the flavors of the meal. We also ordered cherry pelmeni (dumplings), sweet and chewy, a unique appetizer/dessert. All at a bargain price. We look forward to coming back!
We have been here a few times now and have been very pleased each time. The food is always fresh, homemade, and delicious. Some of our favorites are: Ribeye steak kabobs, Russian salad, garlic hummus, and chicken pelmeni. We highly recommend all of those items, but really you can't go wrong with anything you choose. In addition to the wonderful food, we have really enjoyed talking with the very friendly owners, who are always happy to answer questions and make recommendations. Even though it's a long drive for us, we're definitely going to be regulars.
We were looking for something ethnic and this was close. What a treat. Had chicken and lamb kebabs, with rice and salad. Absolutely outstanding flavors and freshness. Salad had a little too many onions for me, but they were easily removed. Every bite was great, and service was outstanding. Highly recommend.
The picture doesn't do it justice, the food was glorious, we got the ribeye kebab, chicken kebab, lamb kebab, the fries are really goodddd. The owner came out front as we were ordering and eating and was chatting with us, conversation was greattttt.
