Had the fried cauliflower tacos and they were the best. This is really the best place in Madison for tacos. Service was a little slower but the food is definitely worth the wait. We will be back, of course.
Lucked into happy hour on our first stop in and was so happy we had to tip the bill. I cannot imagine being in Madison without at least sharing the nachos.
A delicious and reliable place for great tacos, enchiladas, and more. The barbacoa brisket is awesome, chicken pastor excellent, and the enchiladas a classic. Also, for a great family meal, their taco platter is such a great deal, with plenty of sides.
I was very disappointed in our visit here. I only get to Madison a few times a year, and having a mediocre experience is always a bummer. We were here for brunch, recently. One of my FAVORITE Mexican places to eat in downtown Madison! Fair warning the nachos are enormous, and the duritos are addicting! If you order pickup they go the extra mile to separately package different ingredients so that your food doesn't get soggy, I love this place!
You HAVE to stop here! The food was incredible and the atmosphere was creatively delightful. I tried the brussel sprouts tacos...umm where have these been my whole life?! Absolutely amazing! And the strawberry margarita was dangerously good.
A must in Madison! Decor and atmosphere are bright and cheerful. Stopped in for weekend brunch and it was incredible. Spicy marg is to die for. Seriously, best margarita in town. The Chilaquiles could feed 2 people for sure and the churros are soft and delicious.
6/10. The carnitas burrito has a nice taste but the ratio of cabbage to other stuff is too high. Either that or the distribution makes it seem that way. I didn't like the guajillo smother much though. The green salsa it comes with is enough.The elote type corn is not good. It was filled with that weird sharp stuff you get sometimes if you pill a kernel of corn from the ear. I had to stop eating it. The flavor ofthe corn was fine I guess.Horchata is OK but maybe I'm just realizing I'm not a fan of it overall.
