My 1st time eating Buck's pizza. I never have cared for thin crust, but if you fold 2 pcs together it's actually pretty good. I'm sure we'll eat from there again. ??Plus my wife grew up on them.
This is a Madison must do!I have several favorite things about this place:1. They don’t deliver, don’t do dine-in, they just focus on making good pizza.2. Their sauce is my #1 favorite in town so I always order extra.3. We used to order one large for the two of us, but we found ourselves fighting over the last pieces so now we have to order two. Thankfully, this doesn’t cost an arm and a leg so we can get multiple.4. If you hang out at local establishments that is within a block of them, they’ll run pizzas over to you.5. Even at their busiest time, your pie is still ready within a reasonable time frame.6. Save your receipts for a free pie!7. Everyone who works here is super friendly. If you haven’t tried Buck’s pizza, yet, you’re missing out!
I've been eating Buck's Pizza since the late 60's and it's always been the best in Madison. Their sauce is, hands-down, the best in the business.
Really enjoy the thin crust pizza. Staff has always been quick and friendly with service. Love walking in with the counter almost right in the kitchen, smells amazing.
Very good but very expensive payed 33 dollars for two 12 inch pizza
Its pretty good. We saw a lot of ratings and were intrigued. It’s genuinely no frills pizza, very bar style. The order was fast, the service was good, sadly the crust was a little over cooked and had a few charred spots but all in they are what they advertised. If you are looking for a solid bar style thin crust pizza for a reasonable price this is an ok option. I’d recommend it but keep your expectations real. I will say the sauce is surprisingly good, possibly the best part. Thanks Bucks for a pretty decent pizza. Cheers to another 60 years!
Always perfectly done pizza!! ?
I normally don't like thin crust but dam this pizza was so good.
Classic Madison pizza. The sauce is nicely spiced and the ample amounts of cheese do not disappoint.
Time to test out another local restaurant to see what's good.If you're a thin crust fan, Buck's Pizza would be a good choice. Their crust isn't overly cracker-crispy but it's nice and thin. They're a carryout only spot, so keep that in mind if you're looking for delivery. Food was ready in under 20 minutes which was great. You also have the option to have any pizza made "take and bake" style, so you can make it at home.Their prices were pretty reasonable. Their 14 in cheese runs $13 and you add on toppings from there. They also had a sweet coupon deal on their website which saved us $2 on each pizza, so make sure to check out the site before you order. Also make sure to save your receipts; ten receipts gets you a free pizza!Their party style slices were pretty good, though they ranged in size pretty widely. The cheese was nice and stretchy when warm, but like with most pizzas, the longer it sits it does start to firm up so make sure to eat it while piping hot. The pepperoni was very generously topped, definitely nice that they don't skimp on toppings. If you're looking for a crazy twist on pizza with some funky flavors, Buck's might not be the place for you. But if you want a thin, classic, tasty pizza, it's definitely worth a try.
