I absolutely adore this place! The first time we ever visited was the night before we closed on our house and were staying in a hotel. We had our dog and our choices were limited - but Kathy welcomes us with a warm heart and made us feel at home in madison before we even had one. We have visited a few times since then, but every time the people have been so genuinely kind and attentive! Tonight we had Alex as our server, and he was absolutely phenomenal. He took amazing care of us and helped us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The food is amazing, the drinks are well worth every penny, but the customer service of this place is just above and beyond most in the area. Also loved meeting Rob, the owner, who was kind enough to keep checking on us. We will be back soon!!
Fish of the day was the Chilean bass and it far exceeded our expectations. The server was great. The tuna appetizer didn't last more than 3 minutes it was so delicious. Good quality fish.I enjoyed the chowder and...GET THE CARROT CAKEJust do it. Splurge a little. You will not regret it.
We are really disappointed with our visit, the food for 3 of the family wasn’t good because we received a pasta too much spicy and we couldn’t finish to eat, unfortunately for us. They must be more careful and double check the food before the service or at least ask if people want to eat something like that the manager solved the issue with us but it’s not enough.
“Lily’s Chicken” was exquisite - the KeyLime cake delicious and my wife thought the Rockefeller butterfish superb - what’s not to like :)
Neat and tidy restaurant. Great place for cocktails and appetizers. Friendly and knowledgeable staffs. Great service. Non confusing menu.Appetizers are amazing;especially the bang bang shrimp. Crab meat French fries (new) was amazing either. Liquor presentation was great. We loved it.Entrees side, filet and lobster - they nailed the filet temperature but it was more on bland side for me. Seasonal sides could have been cooked more. Tacos was good. Salmon was great!!Restaurant has a big parking lot, entrance faces east and north. Wheel chair accessible. Clean restrooms.I would definitely visit this place for Appetizers and cocktails.
As much as I want to give 5 stars because of the service, the food just didn't taste good. The good: The service was amazing. Our waitress was lovely and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing, quiet, and modern. Would love to have drinks at the bar some time. The bad: The lobster tails were tough and the mashed potatoes were bland (my friend said the ones at the old folks' home were better). My steak was very tough and almost completely flavorless aside from the char flavor, which tasted like a dirty char instead of a smokey one. The asparagus was also incredibly undercooked. The shrimp and mango salsa were fine. Unfortunately, the best part of the meal was the bread.
The shrimp is ok.The fish is too creamy to me?But would love to try more. I like the decor of the restaurant
jj was very prompt with service 110% for hospitality love the food
Our burger was burnt to a crispy black charred on both sides. Waiter was not concerned ????
I went with a large group and we had an abbreviated menu for better service. I think it was a great concept. We all had the same salad and had 3 entrees to pick from and cheesecake for desert. We also had a couple of appetizers and the shrimp one was amazing. I had the Mahi Mahi with broccoli and mashed potatoes for my entree and it was good! Of course I had to have a couple Spotted Cows to go with my meal! I mean, when in Wisconsin...
