Bombay Fast Cafe is the BEST!! Tried it for the first time this week and had to go back the very next day to try again. I will be a regular here. The food truck is located on the Library Mall. They have four items on their menu. Pav Bhaji, Misal Pav, Vada Pav and Bombay Falafel. I have tried the Vada Pav and Pav bhaji and both were delicious and full of flavors.Authentic Indian street food available in Madison, WI. You cannot miss out on this. The couple who own the food truck are super sweet and friendly. They are other ones preparing the food. Go check it out today and thank me later! Highly Recommend!
So so good! I’m always craving Indian food of all types, so having a new spot to go to grab a quick lunch is so welcomed in Madison, especially when most of the other spots are more sit-down restaurant style.I tried them this past Friday (graduation weekend and campus was packed with students and families) and while there wasn’t a huge line, the food took a few minutes because the Vada Pav (potato “burgers”) I ordered were freshly fried - I was happy to wait and it was so worth it! A delicious and unique lunch in downtown Madison for under $10 (with tip)!I was so happy to taste the lingering delicate spice in my mouth after each bite - finding spicy food in Madison is rare and I think it was just the right level for people to enjoy it but not be overwhelmed by it.. given it was 92 degrees that day I didn’t eat the pepper on the rice but will definitely give it a try next time! Looking forward to my next meal!
The food is hands down most authentic. Pretty much every dish is awesome. Vada pav and Misal are just amazing - taste, texture, crunch and flavor. Have known Milind and Rama for a while. Rama is an awesome cook. Sometimes I drive all the way to downtown just for this food.
Rama is doing an incredible service by providing authentic vegetarian and vegan Indian cuisine on campus at such an affordable price. The food is worth the wait.I should mention that they still put butter on my bread even though I had mentioned I'm vegan, but I'm sure they'll learn from this mistake — will definitely be back in the future.
This food is amazing! Find this food cart and try it. This is definitely authentic Mumbai comfort food. It's obvious that they care about the quality because it's consistently delicious and they serve it piping hot every time I've been.
The food was very authentic and had amazing flavor. It will definitely remind you of Bombay. Rama and Miland are the nicest people you'll meet. Had a great time talking to them too.
Delicious food! Good place for people with food restrictions because Rama & Milind know exactly what is in the food and are very helpful with this. Everything is vegetarian. 3 of 4 dishes are vegan (and so is the bread). $7.50 for everything (any of 4 dishes), very filling & good value. Easy to pay - Venmo, card, cash, and maybe others. Friendly, fast service. Open Wed-Sat 11-3. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
Delicious Indian food! Great vegetarian (and vegan) options. Different style than the other Indian restaurants in the area. The owner was super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!
Food tasted really good. The Pav Bhaji, Misal pav and Vada Pav were all authentic and reminded me of home in India. My korean colleague also joined me and enjoyed the food. We are gonna definitely keep frequenting!! The food was worth every mile we walked from Engineering Hall and back.Once school is in session, would you consider stopping by Engineering / Union South / Computer Science area maybe once a week or so? That would really be great for a lot of folks in these locations (being selfish here) ?
If you love authentic Indian food you got to give this a try. The food is amazing and it is also fairly priced. I have tried multiple items and they were all fantastic. The Vada Pav, Misal pav as well as Falafel with an Indian twist were all incredible. These dishes are are not available in typical Indian restaurants. I am now a repeat customer.
