finally got to experience the greatness that is Batch Bakehouse! The chocolate cherry croissant was to die for! It practically melted into my mouth! My boyfriend had the blonde and he said it was chewy & delicious!
Oh Batch how we love you! Impeccable service and impeccable baked goods.After a difficult experience with a different bakery, which after two weeks of attempts left me sans cake for my husband’s birthday, I contacted Batch to see if there was any chance of getting a cake that same day. They were so kind, had maybe 12 cakes I could choose from!! and repeated the list a few times for me so I could get what I wanted. An hour later, I picked up the chocolate marble cake, which of course was delicious because it’s Batch and the quality is *chef’s kiss*My husband said it was his new favorite cake!Batch makes it easy, everyone there is so kind and accommodating, and truly everything they make is divine!Such a gem in Madison.
Great chocolate croissants. Pricey but yummy birthday cakes. High end but you get what you pay for, everything has been delicious so it is a great treat and Madison is lucky to have them.
Wow and Wow again! Normally I don't spend much on store-bought bakery because I'm happy to go home and reproduce pies, cookies, muffins, and more and I typically get some decent results. It takes quite a bit for a bakery to impress me, but your chocolate-caramel cake did that ten times over. Wish I didn't live over two hours away (though maybe that's good thing).

I am an avid baker and baked-good fanatic. This bakery never fails to amaze me with its variety and its high quality pastries. I am a student here in Madison and this bakery is always there first stop I make when my family comes to visit. I highly recommend the almond poppyseed cake and the almond crown.
This bakery deserves a Michelin star. Best bakery in Madison by a significant margin. Their croissants are perfectly laminated, with a good balance of crispiness and butteriness. The scones are not dry, yet still crumble perfectly. They rotate their selections regularly while still keeping some staples like the pain au chocolat and coffee cake almost every day. Everything is baked to the next level. The staff are always friendly, and the vibe inside is always electric. 10/10.
We drove fromChicago for this place and it’s worth every mile…the chocolate croissants beyond words.We got many pastries and all are good.The French baguettes are so real so natural unbelievable taste ,and smells,a must when in Madison.
We came here a bit late, around 2pm, so there wasn’t much selection left (they close at 3) — a testament to their popularity! I got an apple cake slice and reheated it for breakfast the next day, and it was PERFECT. I would way prefer this over any kind of apple pie or something. The cake was light and not too sweet, with a well-portioned serving of apple chunks, and the crumb topping on top was DELICIOUS. I will definitely come back another time earlier in the day to try more of this goodness.
Im here once a week during the weekend trying out different delicacies. My favorite so far is the chocolate bundt cake.
