I’ve eaten Banzo for years and it is one of our family’s favorite restaurants in Madison particularly because the food is amazing and we can accommodate both the vegetarians and meat eaters among our friends and family. I used Banzo catering for a pre graduation meal and was so very pleased at how well thought out the packaging was. We had 10 people and ordered falafel, chicken, rice, pita, hummus and the amazing cabbage salad. We also added on some koftka. I ordered online, indicated my special requests, received an email confirmation with the total price within 30 minutes and when I went to pick the order up, everything was packed very well, included serving utensils (which were so appreciated) and the dressing was separate from the salad to prevent it from getting soggy. The food was hot and fresh and was so incredibly delicious per usual. I highly recommend the catering service at Banzo for orders of 10 people and up. They do an amazing job
Banzo Catering is fantastic! The food is always consistently delicious and the service is incredible. We used them to cater our wedding (for a very reasonable price as well) and all our guests raved about the food and told us it was the best wedding food they'd ever have. They are an especially great option for guests with food allergies (especially gluten) or who follow vegetarian/vegan diets. You will not be disappointed!
Amazing food - there is truly not a bad thing on the menu! This is a frequent date night spot for us because of the good food and outdoor patio. Plus they have a great takeout setup!
A nice restaurant for Mediterranean food lovers !Has limited choice but some popular and favorite varieties.It’s relatively small with limited tables inside but there’re enough tables outside available when the weather is warm enough !Inside is very colorfully and pleasantly painted and decorated.Located in a very quite neighborhood. Chicken, sweet potato falafel, and hummus. It was all quite tasty, well prepared, and neatly presented. It’s a cute location in what surely appears to be a converted house.I would have preferred a hot sauce other than Sriracha, but that’s a minor point.
I ordered catering for a work event and I had a wonderful experience. I love that comprehensive prices and options are listed right on the website so I don't have to play phone-tag getting quotes. The ordering process was straightforward.The food was fantastic! I highly recommend their platter buffet - the falafels went so fast, and the array of sauces made each plate a custom delight. My lunch guests were very impressed with the freshness, flavours and volume of food delivered to the venue. Usually I find pitas taste stale, soggy or toasted to a crisp, but the Banzo pitas were the best texture I've had in a long time.If you need plates etc, specify when you're ordering, there is an extra charge per person for those.
The falafel is the best I've ever had. Went here yesterday and ordered the harvest platter. Loved everything on it. The hummus is to die for. Also, they have some cute decor with lots of plants.
Banzo catered our wedding last fall. The food was delicious, they were super professional the day of, and the overall experience felt really easy which is not always how wedding planning feels! The food worked really well for our guests because everyone from the vegans to the meat-eaters to those with allergies found something to enjoy. The leftovers were fantastic to have too and they packed everything up for us. We got a lot of compliments on the food and I think people enjoyed that it wasn't typical wedding food.
Great tasting food and helpful staff. Ate on the patio and all the tables were full but felt like you could still have a private conversation. Also, it was a nice environment. I tried my friends food because I just had soup, but was surprised when I tried a few things that I had tried and not liked before but their product was great.
