Was a little skeptical due to only reading a few reviews but the service and food surpassed my expectations, then some. Found our new “go-to” taco place!
We just got the barria family meal a few days ago and I'm already DYING to go back. It is SO good. The salsa is not your standard Mexican restaurant salsas and it is much more vibrant and flavorful.The menu online says to choose pork or brisket for the barria, but it only comes as brisket. Trust me though, you don't want it any other way. It is not a fatty brisket at all. Sooooo good!!!
The food here is amazing and the best tex mex in Madison! The service is great as well. If you are looking for a locally owned quality place to eat, stop at A-Rods Tex Mex!
Best taco and quesadilla I’ve ever had. I took one bite of the rice and beans and knew I made the right decision eating here. Highly recommended to anyone that wants their taste buds to experience something spectacular!!!
Best Mexican food in Wisconsin. Hands down. We heard about this place and made the trek from the Westside to check it out. Omg. The Birria beef tacos were amazing, and the Pastor pork taco was the best taco I think I’ve ever had.This place is inside the Global Market which is a unique fun experience as well. Run don’t walk. You won’t regret it.
My first time in Madison Wisconsin and I find the best Tex Mex spot. Service was awesome. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the # 5 with spicy pork ?The customer service was top notch! I will be coming back to try something else .
Absolutely delicious food. The birria tacos were filled with so much flavor and I cannot wait to come back and have them again. Go to the global food hall and visit Arods. You won’t regret it.
While the tacos my sister got were wonderful, honestly it was the rice and beans that stole the show. Usually we could care less about the sides but these were seasoned to perfection and just so darn flavorful!! You know a place is good if they are making a star out of the simple stuff. The owner was a pleasure and I can't wait to come back on my next visit to town.

Had the 3 fat n cheesy tacos (shrimp, steak and pork belly) with rice and beans. Outstanding!! I’ve seen some great write ups in the paper and reading reviews on here….spot on. Definitely will be coming back and telling others. Gentleman that took our order last night was very nice and accommodating. I told him we’d leave a review.
