Before I was diagnosed with my autoimmune disease, I loved beer. Would go to craft breweries all the time. I have missed the taste of delicious beer, and when discovering Alt Brew, my life felt complete again. The ONLY thing I wish they would do was offer some gluten free foods that is difficult to find/eat anywhere else (cheese curds! soft pretzels! deep fried pickles! etc.) But since it's a brewery, I can't review them on lack of food. :) My family have become big fans of Alt Brew as well and we buy their beer all the time. Can't wait for more and new beers to try!

Diverse offerings and delicious gluten-free beer that’s worth the trip. I finally understand why my non-celiac friends enjoy craft beer so much.Taproom staff has always been helpful, but never more than when the brewmaster towed my car back onto the parking lot in the rain! Can’t recommend them enough.
Stopped in on a quiet Thursday and chatted with bartender and another patron. I didn't know it was a gluten free brewery and to be honest wouldn't have known if I hadn't been told. Beer was good

A hidden gem!!!! I am NOT gluten free but have a madison beer passport so we decided to stop here to redeem our two free ones. We got the California common and the hazy IPA. I was blown away by the selection and every single beer we tried we liked! We liked it so much we split a 4 beer flight after. The blonde ale was ok but everything else was awesome. We will definitely be back!

I've been gluten-free since I was 15, so I've never really had beer. I assumed that all gluten-free beer would be terrible, as is the unfortunate trend with so many other gluten-free items.I'm thrilled to report that ALT Brew is the exception to that rule. It's so refreshing to have a place where I can order ANYTHING on the menu, which is a feeling I never fully appreciated before I went gluten-free. And it's GOOD, too! Finally a place where I don't have to just "make do" with a few options. My only regret is I didn't check them out sooner!!
