I like the troll vibe of the restaurant. I ordered the grandpa root beer, salt and pepper chicken wings and the sirloin “frites” the wings are good and my steak could have been a little more cook but it was good too and the service was good.
The food and drinks were really good! Husband got a burger, I got a pasta dish. The food is high quality and affordably priced for State Street. We also loved the atmosphere. Would highly recommend! Definitely will be going back.
We had an amazing experience and Jen was wonderful and helpful. She was able to recommend a wonderful beer that I had never tried. The pasta ala vodka was my favorite part of Madison.
We went at 5:00 on a Friday and were the only patrons, which was a little concerning. The cocktails were amazing! Would definitely recommend their bar. My husband and I both got pasta dishes. The food was okay. Good, not great. Probably wouldn't eat there again.
We went to 107 State for dinner before Overture event(5:30p.m.). Staff was great. Appetizer was good. Burgers were awful. My cheeseburger was ordered medium rare-it was a well done hockey puck . Both burgers were. This was burger week!!! I was offered a remake. I said no as we did have an event to attend. We were given $ off. Thank you. Please clean and deodorize your bathrooms. There seems to be some sort of sewage issue.
Got take-out. Meat flavor was fantastic! However both the burgers & fries were WAY too salty. We'd try them again but ask them to skip the salt. The burger flavor was so good I don't think it's needed. NOTE: the web said they had contactless delivery. However, when we called to place our order, they told us delivery wasn't an option.
My guest and I had cheeseburgers and side salads that were good along with nice service. We each ordered a Whiskey and Diet single tall. ( Local Whiskey) The drinks were $20 EACH. I understand making money on Drinks however this was over the top. We basically bought the bottle with 2 shots. Disappointed because it is a fun place.
Pork Chop!! Amazing!! Staff was on target
Casually upscale restaurant with a dimly lit but comfortable atmosphere. Waitstaff was to-the-point and quick. The foot selection was solid, definitely Italian-centered; it came out quickly, though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy at the time.
Good spot if you're too drunk to care what you eat and your favorite cocktail ingredient is simple syrup. We kept it simple and ordered burgers. His came under cooked and mine came without the $3.50 bacon addition and any toppings whatsoever. Once the bacon came, it was two inches long seared on one side and completely raw on the other. The manager seemed intoxicated, but was nice enough. He offered to comp the burger, which is why I offered three stars. My friends all had similar stories, so I felt the need to write a review.
