I was there in June and noticed a random charge of $10 on my debit card. Called twice, they took all of my information both times and the “manager” never called me back. I have a feeling this is standard practice and they do this to a lot of customers so beware!!
Awesome food, great service, great atmosphere.
Beautifully located on the lake however their version of a steak fry is day old quarter wedged baked potatoes fried. Wife's medium rare steak was medium we'll with no sear and had cold sweet potato fries. Server brought us the bill before asking if we wanted anything else as we wanted another drink and dessert. To be fair, my ribs were good and they do have live music. I wish my server offer French fries when I inquired that I ordered fries not wedges.
My wife and I were in town for the night. We chose to dine here based on other good reviews as we are not familiar with the area. Service was very friendly. The beef sandwich and burger we ordered was great. And it seemed like a really good crowd while we were there. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.
We wanted to enjoy a Wisconsin Friday Fish Fry and decided to try Mars Restaurant. Parking lot was packed! No reservations so it's "first come-first served". Enjoyed the fried cod with fries + soup (it was soup or salad choice) Really a popular spot!
We are a family of 3 adults and 2 children. We were looking for a late lunch place and stopped at Mars Resort. We were seated immediately, given menus, and offered drinks. We ordered a full slab of ribs with soup & onion rings, burger with fries, ham-bacon-lettuce-tomato club sandwich with chips, kid's menu fish with fries, and kid's burger with fries. Everything was delicious! We ate as much as we could and brought enough home for lunch the next day. Total came to just under $90 before tip. Our server gave great service, including a fun booklet & crayons for the kids. It was too cold to eat outside, but we could still enjoy the view. We will be back!
The sandwiches were awesome. I especially loved the Italian Sausage. Service was fast and the outdoor seating has beautiful views of Lake Como.
Everything from the appetizers to the main course were great. Fast service and very casual. Nice lake view. Appears to have mostly local customers and I can see why. Reasonable prices. Planning a return trip soon.
Service was excellent even though they were busy. LOVED the Grecian pork chops, husband said most tender and flavorful that he's ever had. Well worth the money. I had ribs which were excellent. Will definitely return. Fascinated by the outside igloo seating.
