We had our daughter's 1st Communion catered by Gino's East and the services was super awesome. Jeff and Barb are super great to work with. They offered great menu selections for the size of our group. They helped us in getting a bigger room to host our gathering. The communication was great, pleasant and super friendly. We had 3 meal options and open bar. The food was great, warm and tasty. The ladies serving the drinks were awesome as well. They took great care of our guest. From the service to the food everything was great. We will definitely we'll go back to Gino's for another event. I'm super happy with how the event and how it turned out.

Happy hour was nicely priced and the staff was great. Once we ordered dinner things went downhill. Started with a big pretzel as an appetizer which I love, however Gino’s East has no mustard to dip it in, they only offer cheese which to me is just the way to do a pretzel. Had we known this we definitely would not have ordered the pretzel. Onto pizza, we know that Gino’s is famous for the deep dish, but we didn’t really want that much dough or time waiting for the deep dish. Fortunately our server gave high praise for the thin crust pizza so we ordered that. When it arrived in a good time it looked quite heavy in cheese and pretty black on the bottom and sides. We both took a bite and yikes, it was pretty rough- the amount of cheese was much thicker than the crust, the sausage was very scarce and the anchovies were out of control as they were not even cut but huge long salty strips of anchovies everywhere. We normally see small pieces of anchovies and big pieces of sausage, this was the complete opposite meaning that after two bites of this pizza I had to drink my entire glass of water to balance out the salt. I could not even get thru one little square piece and my husband ate maybe 3 small squares of a large pizza. After leaving Gino’s we went out to Lake Geneva to find a place to go for dinner, what a shame.

Ordered thru doordash.com. We normally have the stuffed . This time we opted for thin . The toppings were good , the crust was terrible , hard chewy . Not what we know and expect. Called and no one would give phone to a manager. We have loved Gino's East being from Chicago this was a huge disappointment.

Went here for restaurant week. Dinner was a salad, chicken marsala and carrot cake. Salad was okay. The n chicken in the chicken marsala was way overcooked and the sauce did not have that distinct marsala flavor. And the carrot cake was what you would find at Walmart for $1.

Pizza (Chicago style deep dish) was excellent. We had the spinach pie. Salad was fresh. Staff was friendly. We ordered to go through the website and had a great experience. Dining room looks fancy and the other pic is from the parking lot. Nice to go for a walk here after a big heavy deep dish pizza meal.

We love this place - the owner is so nice and the waitresses too. It is attached to Harbor Shores which is a great hotel. We have a child with food allergies and the owner personally brought our food out and said hi - very nice. The pizza is amazing, ravioli excellent and the salad was terrific. We finally tried the spinach appetizer sticks - wow. We come every time we go to Lake Geneva now.

Great pizza! Be prepared to wait at least an hour for food. This is not a normal In and out meal. Order a few drinks and be patient. It’s worth it.

We love this restaurant! The pizzas was fabulous and the cocktails too??As we eat we what happen all the movements on the lake, plus the view was great ??

Ordered the Italian Beef.We each rec'd. a large order of delicious fries, to go with our sandwich. The Italian Beef was big and tasty.

Pickup. Phone order placed for deep dish, they gave a regular. Returned the regular pizza and they gave the deep dish (and let us keep the regular). The regular pizza was okay. The deep dish was quite greasy. Would not order again. This is a Chicago pizza place which definitely is baked better in the Windy City. Will not return.
