We were staying at French Country Inn (bar/restaurant renovations not complete yet)...wanted to stop for a couple drinks and an appetizer nearby before heading to another place for dinner. Well, what a surprise! Friendly staff all around and once we saw the menu, decided to scratch our other plans. Reasonable prices, great food and drinks, friendly staff...yep!PS- Came back next day to really just have a couple drinks before dinner elsewhere...the Spiked Lemon Shakeups are AWESOME!!
We picked this place solely on a whim and came away feeling a bit disappointed. To be fair, we visited on aMonday which is not a good day for food here. Their real food menu starts on Wednesday so our experience may have been much different had we came on a better day. We had some difficulties through our whole experience but the Rib-eye Steak sandwich was very good and I am told that the Duck Strip basket was better than expected for the first time trying something like that. I am sure that our experience was a ‘perfect storm’ of unfortunate timing and our server acknowledged that we were in the right place at the wrong time. The music was very good and at least we enjoyed the ambiance with our food. A strike out for us but man did I want to get a taste of that Sheppards pie!
Stopped for a nosh & a drink. Had a couple of delicious appetizers and a couple of drinks. The food was great. We tried the duck strips with orange sauce, came with an additional side order (chose the soup of the day). Also had the poppers. The portion sizes were generous, the food was served hot & delicious! All of the staff were super friendly and attentive. Great freshly squeezed lemonade drinks. I had virgin, hubby had spiked. Yum! Perfect & not too tart, nor too sweet. Will definitely return when back in the area, and consider this a recommendation to check it out for yourselves! ;)
Honestly, this place has the very best Corned Beef and Cabbage that I have ever had! I'm in love ❤️
I have everything good to say about this place. I was staying at the Ridge hotel in lake Geneva dying for good food that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I ordered the BBQ special half a slab was like 8 ribs with mashed potatoes, green beans and a side salad. It was a lot of food, reasonably priced. Highly recommended
We came here by chance because another place we had planned on going was packed. But we were very very happy we ended up here as the food was great, prices fair, and services was excellent! I will absolutely be going back in the future and will be recommending it to friends.

Went to Foley's for St. PATRICK'S Day corn beef and the place was packed. Service was GREAT along with AWESOME food.
Lunch menu was limited. No Reuben for an Irish bar was disappointing. Dinner menu looks great.
This is authentic Irish Fare. The pork chop is amazing. The bartender and servers couldn't be any friendlier. This is my restaurant of choice.. Don't expect a zip, zap food served like a fast food place. It Takes time to make good food.
