It's fairly decent service
Great menu, quality ingredients, tasty
Basically $5 worth of extras I added to my sandwich weren’t put on, the Ham was supposed to be double (I’ve seen double, this was not even close to deluxe which is less than double) and my bacon was not included on my salad. Delivery and speed was great but sad the extras I paid for weren’t included.
It’s a subway. It’s just fine for what it is
The woman at the State Road Subway in La Crosse is a bit unhinged. I walked up to the express with 2 subs that were sitting on the counter already paid for, and she motioned me to get to the back of the line while she treated two other customers VERY rudely. By the time I saw the way she was treating those customers, I told her to keep those subs and she had better not charge my credit card. She seems like she may have been mad her unemployment ran out. And by the looks of her, probably never eaten a piece of lettuce in her life. Maybe a job at Mc Donald's would help her better relate to the industry she is used to.
Subway is pretty solid
Extremely rude employee, I didn’t get everything I wanted on it and when I called to let her know she flat out told me that I was wrong. Not somewhere I want to be getting my food.
Staff was unhelpful and rude like they got a joy out of not helping me. I would suggest try a different subway without such a rude staff.
Since the beginning of the pandemic my husband and I have not gone into restaurants. We decided to pickup a sub and have it outside. I assumed that employees in restaurants would be wearing face masks. I was surprised and appalled that the people handling the food were not wearing face masks. One of the workers that was handling the food was also working the cash register and handling money without changing her gloves. I thought it was mandatory for these workers to wear masks.
I got a meatball sub from the State Road location today. One of the meatballs was charred through to the core and tasted like a ball of charred ash. I had to immediately spit it out and pledge to myself never to get a meatball sub from there ever again. I know it might just be a rare occurrence, but still it was gross.
