I have a gluten allergy and they were so helpful and made sure that I had a safe experience. I find eating out stressful at times and this was just such a wonderful experience. The food was excellent. I would definitely recommend!
I was on a road trip with family & we found this gem after a sightseeing stop in LaCrosse. We needed a quick lunch & this hit the spot. It for sure brought back happy memories for my mom & aunt. We were thrilled to find a rare place that offers the full drive-in experience all the way down to the roller skates. Our burgers, cheese curds, & ice cream were just as expected. Thanks for putting smiles on our faces.
CASH OR CHECK ONLY. If you want some traditional, throwback diner food then Rudy’s is your place! A comforting and familiar menu while also having some exciting options. Like the Pizza Burger. Low price for some quality comfort food. I was reminded of my childhood in the summer with their swirled vanilla soft serve ice cream. A true treat.

Classic American drive in menu of burgers, fries, and shakes. Simple food made well and to order. It is nice to stop in once in awhile to sit in your vehicle and relax while enjoying the food. Only reason this is not a five star rating is the burger could of had more seasoning and also was a bit greasy. The nice cold root beer in the glass mug reminded me of my childhood.
Wasn't busy yet watched our order sit under the heat lamp while the waitress gabbed with the other waitress. Cold fries as a result. Don't get chili fries, you get fries that come with chili to dip in. The walnut burger was cooked until it was dehydrated coal. Sad. The legendary root beer stand is no longer. New owners are offering a lot less quality for much higher prices. Won't go back when better restaurants are all over that part of LaCrosse.
We loved Rudy's. We are a gluten and dairy free family, and we were thrilled to order hamburgers on GF buns and Dole whips (which are dairy free). Food was good size portions and arrived quickly. Will definitely go back.
They have the window trays and mugs back! I had a banana split. My son had a chilli dog and onion rings. We both loved our food.

They are FINALLY back in town. We just moved here and discovered them last year. Unfortunately, they are seasonal, but the food is GREAT!! We are SO excited! This is one of this family of 6's FAVORITE local restaurants!! And they serve my favorite, ...FUNNEL FRIES!!
