Kind of a mixed review, my wife was disappointed with the chicken salad, mostly lettuce with very few other things like tomato, cucumbers or chicken. She thought the bit of shredded chicken that was there tasted kind of funny. I had the batteries fried cod I would have liked it cooked a few minutes longer but it was OK with no real complaints. Our guests had the salads also but they offered no comments. Probably a better place for burgers, fries and a beer. The spotted cow beer on tap was very good. Our service was very good and the location is perfect for a beautiful summer day for lunch outside.
My friends and I stopped when visiting La Crosse- we called ahead for 18 people. Our server was attentive and the food and drinks were very tasty.

Great riverside atmosphere, efficient wait staff , the food is very good.But it can take alooong time for the food to arrive.Sitting on the river watching all the pleasure boats will pass the time waiting for your food, get a drink, sit back and relax, you are on river time;)
Ordered the $16 prime rib sandwich and there was not enough meat of it to cover the bun. Yeah will not get that again.
This was a pleasant surprise for us. We expected (well we won't sat that here) but everyone was super friendly and the food was great. Cannot beat the location and view while you are dining. Inside and outside dining. The sides choices with my chicken bacon ranch wrap really stood out. (I got the side salad - awesome/fresh)
Great staff, good food, and a nice drink selection. I had the fish tacos and shared some nachos, and was very full when I left.
Food was great service clean restaurant waitress was awesome ? highly recommend eating at this place.
