I called and spoke to someone about our problem on Mother's Day, we never got our food, it came to just over 49.00 I am on social security with a disabled , sick child and can't afford this when we never got our food. Manager was suppose to call me back about a refund, but never did. My family are for supporting small business in our area but will never be going back to Margie's again. I had even given them a good tip.
For Mother's Day my Mom, sister, my daughter, and I used the Eatstreet app to order food. I went to go pick it up just a bit before the estimated pickup time.When I got there I stood at the checkout for a few minutes. A waitress came and told the person next to me it would be a few minutes for their food, ignored me and walked away. She came back a few minutes later and asked rudely if I needed anything. I advised I was there for a pickup and gave her the name. She came back a few minutes later telling it would be a bit.After more waiting, they flipped the Open sign to Closed but three of us still didn't have food and were waiting. The waitress handed out tickets and pens for us to write our orders down as they didn't have them. I stated we could've wait longer for food and asked for a refund. They refused stating the order was already completed on Eatstreet and slammed the ticket and pen in front of me. I left with no food and no refund.Happy Mother's Day to my Mom and myself I guess.
Good food and great prices. You get a lot for your money. It is a small busy place so sometimes the service is slow, but worth the wait.
No one acknowledged us (4 of us) when we walked in.Eventually we were seated. The table we were seated at had alot of food under the table. It was pretty bad too. After our order was placed we waited, waited and waited for our food. Other customers came and went and still no food and our server ghosted us. I was able to get servers attention. She said she thought the chime meant our order was ready. Off she goes and doesn't return. When the food finally arrived two of us ordered the 3 egg scrambler. One looked like it was made with 1 egg. The other one was a little bigger, but not 3 eggs. One order was turkey dinner and it was okay. The other order was hamburger steak. I asked what the delay was (it had been 1 hour) and she said the hamburger steak takes so long to make. Seriously? No apologies, nothing. Never going back.
Ordered an Omelet and only took 3 bites. Every bite had eggshells in it. I finally just spit it out. I can understand finding maybe one peice of shell. But not every bite. Not to mention it did not even look like an Omelet.This was a delivery order, because I assure you. I would have gotten my money back
Great food. They got the little extras that I needed and I was very happy with my meal. Nice hometown spot.

Always have a great experience when going here. The food is inexpensive and tastes amazing. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. Has been my and my mom's spot to meet up for the past few years, we love coming here.
Large portions for a very reasonable price, however, we waited about 15 mins to get seated and another 20 just to place our order and they weren't even busy. Food was subpar, and we were seated next to another family at the same table while there were open tables all around us. Overall, it's not the worst experience but a little underwhelmed.
The food is always good and cheap! You get a lot of bang for your buck. Those omelettes are loaded full. It's always the wait time on food that takes the longest. Would recommend the apple fritter french toast!
