Great waitress and bartender in a place with a cool ambiance and history. BBQ ribs were OK, but the steak was fantastic. Drinks are mixed well. People told me this was a "supper club", but I would call it more of a steak house.

From outside this place looks very underrated- but inside of the restaurant it’s got an Amazing ambience. The food quality is remarkable, we tried the ribs, bbq chicken with lemon and salmon (chargrilled)… all of them were good for the price!
We were visiting LaX on our anniversary and trying to visit all the venues of our wedding there. Received many recommendations from our local family and friends that this restaurant was not to be missed. Very true! Received friendly accommodating reception from the host even without the highly advised reservation. We chose bar seating as we were there strictly for the escargot and a few cocktails. The escargot were tender, hot, garlicy and buttery, everything they should be. Garlic toast was perfect for mopping up the sauce! Bourbon sour old fashion was very well made by the cordial bartender. Well worth the visit for those tasty morsels!
There steaks are the best in town! My husband and I celebrate anything from a birthday to just a random date night here ❤️ 10/10 would recommend to everyone!
We spent our Valentines Day (2 days late) here and it was literally the best date night we had! The atmosphere is just cozy yet eloquent. We plan on coming back again for sure.
We have been to Diggers Sting many many times over the years. It never disappoints! The food & drinks are always superior! The staff is too notch! And the atmosphere/ambiance is great! It's an old school supper club with the theme of The Sting. Drinks named for movie characters and actors... Lots of pictures... Dark & quiet... With great food & wait staff! It's a local favorite, for sure!
My Love and I went out for date night and had some amazing food tonight! ? We started out with the snow crab ? and artichoke dip. I had the charbroiled salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and a salad ? and Shawn had the steak ? & shrooms ?, BBQ porkchop , and jumbo shrimp ? with garlic mashed potatoes and prime rib chili. He had an ol' fashioned ? because we're in Wisco and why not ?♀️
We were really looking forward to seeing this place, it looked like a nice supper club type place with a great menu. We didn’t get past the bar!! The bartender was coughing and blowing his nose and NOT washing his hands? we could barely finish our drinks!! Really disappointing!
I absolutely love this place! I've never had a bad meal, nor poor service at Digger's. They have excellent wait-staff & bartenders, and hands-down the BEST scallops in the Coulee Region. Their steaks, prime rib & other entrees are equally excellent. They make a mean Old Fashioned, as well! The atmosphere is unique/different, but classy. They are very popular so space is usually limited; I definitely recommend reserving a table well ahead of time!
