At some point excuses need to turn into solutions. Covid impacted the whole industry not just this location but consistent 30+ min drive thru waits combined with soggy sliders, unmelted cheese and cold gray fries it's plain not worth going to this states sole location.
Had to drive 3 hours (one way) because this was the closest White Castle. My wife got to enjoy it for the first time. It was a great experience, but the drive thru attendant could use some customer service refresher courses. All around, good experience, just wish there was one closer to home.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE FOOD! 3 double cheeseburger meals, 2 extra double cheeseburgers, onion rings, and chicken rings. ALL OF IT WAS NONE EDIBLE! Only 2 of the burgers were warm. The fries were soggy and cold. The onion rings were hard as rocks. The chicken rings weren't completely done. We discovered this as soon as we left the parking lot. The lobby is closed ofcourse because of short staffing, so I couldn't even take it back inside to exchange it. I wasn't about to spend another 15 minutes in the drive thru just to be disappointed again. I stopped at the gas station next door and tossed it all of it in the trash. Grabbed gas and snacks and got back on the expressway to Chicago. I WANT MY $40 BACK FOR THE FOOD PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!
Hot and ready burgers. Staff was nice and there wasn't a long wait. I think since Covid and less employees makes it hard, but they made the wait, worth it.
Night crew on 1/24/22 did a awesome job fresh food & excellent customer service skills handling my large order. Everything placed was in the bags with condiments. Highly recommend had to leave a review bcuz this kind of service definitely deserves recognition. Especially with a crew of only two employees.
I know since covid has hit us, everything has changed. Restaurants have had new employees and everyone cooks different. It may have been 2 years since I've been here and although I would probably go again sometime, the hamburgers weren't as tasty as they used to be...to me. Prices were good though for 4 hamburgers, fries and drink!
Terrible customer service. The man in the store looked at us and continued cleaning the grill as if we were not there in the drive thru. . The open signs were on, the store website said it was open. We called the store from the drive thru without answer (and left a message about our experience). If he didn’t want to work, he could have at least answered and said (lied) the store was closed. Very very disappointing. Here is a photo of the man with the poor work ethic and lack of customer service skills.
We had a very big order as we passed threw going back to Milwaukee. The food and sides were nice and hot. They was able to get us back on the highway really fast. The staff that night were awesome and nice.
White Castle has always been my favorite since I was a little girl living in the city of Chicago. So to have friendly people serving me with a big smile makes me feel like I'm back home in Chicago. Thank you white Castle crew in kenosha for great customer service. ????
Let me first say, I'm a White Castle fan! I was born and raised in the Southern suburbs of Chicago with a castle right down the street from my house. I'm super happy that this White Castle is here and frequent this location often. That said, they are impacted by this "worker shortage" like everyone else. They had two, TWO employees staffing the restaurant this weekend. This allowed them to only have the drive-thru open, which is understandable. I also believe this impacts the quality of food. The burgers weren't as good as usual. The chicken rings were overcooked but cold and the fries were soggy and cold as well. So kudos to the staff that showed up and continue to work but they were struggling and needed help. I'll continue to support this location as I don't want it to go away. Just know if this is your first experience at White Castle, it may not be representive of a typical visit.
