AMAZING fish fry. We sat outside where they have some outside tables with umbrellas. It was 97 degrees that day but still chose to stay for cocktails and fish. Reviews for the Friday fish fry were exceptional….they were right. Union park tavern is fish fry was amazing. You won’t be disappointed.
What a great place to hang out and eat! Fantastic fish fry on Friday's with hand breaded shrimp too and wonderful sides. They also make the best housemade fried cheese curds I've ever had. The burgers and broaster chicken are wonderful. I haven't had anything bad from the menu yet. The live music is always awesome, and the service is friendly and excellent.
great food. every time. fish was great- coleslaw was great- german potato salad- yummmm! and turtle cheesecake!!

There’s a reason they keep getting rated best fish fry. Stopped in for the first time after having it recommended to me a few times and must say I was not disappointed. Didn’t have to wait long to be seated, even with coming during peak dinner time on a Friday. Great German beer selection. I had the walleye and my wife had the cod. Both were top notch and the potato pancakes were to die for! Great deserts, pie of the day when we visited was coconut crème and it was heavenly. An all around neat place and would highly recommend.
I haven't been to this tavern since it was Pete's Place. Very good experience this time as Union Park. I had a 1/2# blue cheese burger with onion rings. It was done medium as requested. The onion rings were nicely cooked, not wilty. The opinions didn't slide out of the coating. A couple of friends I was with had ordered cheese curds and their chili. Both agreed their orders were very good.We saw a New Orleans style jazz band. That setup was done very well.AND they're open 365 days a year. I do plan on returning and trying their chicken entrees
