Nobody was rude or anything but they didn't act like they wanted to serve food. I asked how to get food and I was told to tell the bartender what you want and someone would bring it out. Didn't feel comfortable or like it would be a good experience for dining. We left and went elsewhere. Looks more like a bar that has food for the people drinking ? instead of a place to get a good dinner with good service.
Been here numerous times, but today the bartender caused a scene because I gave him a 10% tip for pouring me beers. The grown man called me out in front of all of your patrons, bc he thought he deserved more for putting a pint glass under a tap. What a D-Bag. Good food, good beer, diva bartender. Anyone tempted to try, do yourself a favor and go down the road to Rivals.
This place right here.. haha. That comment isn't a bad thing. I'm a big fan of places that when you look at them from the outside you think i shouldn't eat here. Those are the places that you get the best food. Was lunchtime when i was there ordered the Italian beef egg rolls other than being messy(the juice from the beef) they were great dipping sauce was made there which was good. The chicken sandwich was huge! And the price was well under what it should have been. The bartender was awesome being the only one working out front. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the fact there was no wait staff on a weekend, but with the employment issues all over its understandable and not really part of this review. Overall good find and food for the money
The bartender told us that all of their rolls were moldy after we had been waiting for our order. I got the Philly cheese steak. It was the special that day and it was disgusting. Super greasy and unflavored.
Donoswag makes the gas drinks, Mike has his chicken on point.Well worth the stop
I am editing my original review since the owner did not understand my concern, i went to Uncle Mikes with a group to watch the UFC which i found reviews that pointed me to come here as a good place to watch the UFC. Tonights event was on ESPN ,not a PPV, and not one TV had the UFC event. When i asked about watching the UFC i was told that they are playing the NBA, I looked around and not one customer was watching the game and the Pub was not going to change even one TV to the ESPN channel with the UFC event. I finished my one beer and left with my group.
Just stopped in for one beer, and this place was quite welcoming. Bartender was personable, the beer was good and cold, and we had a fun time throwing darts. Fun time, will definitely be back!
Food was decent. Beer selection was good. Felt bad for the bartender cause she was the only one there. She tried her best and acknowledged every person that walked in the door.
Being a local, we've been meaning to try Uncle Mikes for some time. Having small kids has prevented us coming to this bar sooner. So we were really excited when my wife and I took the day off to watch the Brewers game, and decided to come here. The experience started off on the wrong foot when we asked for a water while deciding what beer to order and was brought out bottled water and was going to be charged a dollar for it. When I questioned it I was told by the bartender that that is what the owner has instructed her to do. Really? We ordered an app which was Italian beef and giardiniera wrapped up in an egg roll wrapper and fried. it came out over cooked, and when you picked it up grease was dripping out of the end for at least a minute. We had to put a napkin down in the container so the grease wouldn't splatter. It was also so greasy the dipping sauce wouldn't stick to it. The app had minimal flavor as all you could taste was grease. It was disgusting.I got the chicken wrap for lunch, asked them to add ranch dressing to it as there was no sauce noted, just lettuce, bacon and grilled chicken. No ranch was added and as a result it just wasn't good. The shredded lettuce was hot and wilted, the chicken was ok, and the bacon, well bacon is always good. But overall, even with me adding ranch myself for a 50 cent upcharge, it was really not good.My wife got the superman chicken sandwich. The chicken was ok. Maybe this is a gimmick, but the chicken is 3-4 times the size of the bun. There was nothing on the bun, just a plain bun. Why bother with the bun? Honestly the chicken was the best part besides the beer, and it wasn't bad. It was just ok, and more of a hassle then it was worth. All told $60 for an app 2 entrees, 2 drinks and a $1.00 water. I've had much better for less. I am hopeful this was just a bad day for the place, but based on our experience we will not come back and are very hesitant to try their other establishments.
We started out with Bloody Mary's on a Sunday morning, and the service was phenomenal. We stayed through the NFL games and had lunch...it was a solid day. Nice people and plenty of TVs.
