Made the decision to finally go, after church! This place didn't disappoint, the food was delicious, the service was on point, and even got cotton candy for dessert for my son. The inside looks nice kinda a back in the day feeling too it. Old century feel, loved it.
Seating is comfortable and easy to maneuver around in. Skillets are generous hot and delicious. Reasonably priced.
After hearing about Masons on local radio we decided to try it when we were in Kenosha . Our waitress was fabulous and attentive . The food however was terrible ! The onion strings were greasy and undercooked but edible. The chili is no where near homemade as we expected it was to be it was chef mate chili base available at GFS I’m sure with added kidney beans and hamburger. My monte cristo was greasy along with fries that tasted like the grease needs to be changed yuck , My husbands patty melt was mediocre . We both used the bathrooms before leaving and when leaving we both looked at each other and said this place needs a good cleaning . The bathrooms as well as the hallways and common areas are plain nasty . Needless to say we will not be back ..
Very very good Fish and Chips!!!!!!!! Crab cakes and chipotle sauce are amazing!!!!!!! There was a mistake with my order by Grub Hub. I called and spoke to one of the managers Jenny. She provided me with excellent world class customer service. Even though the mistake was 100% on Grub Hub's end, she sent out an employee to bring me what I ordered and should have received. She truly went above and beyond! Thanks again Jenny and Mason's. Great food and great service!!!!!!
Seems like a nice sports bar. Food was good but like a lot of places they seemed to be under staffed. In all it was a fine, but when we got the bill we saw a charge for salsa because my wife asked for an extra2oz container of salsa for her tacos (3) which only came with one small container of salsa. This kind of nit picky is just a turn off.
Mike was our bartender during and we had the best time and experience. Being from the industry it was nice to recieve service just as I would give. And to watch him work the crowd was awesome! The food was fantastic and beverages also. Thanks for the wonderful time!
We've been here before, and enjoyed it. However, the last time proved they aren't 100% all the time! It was cold in there, the acoustics were such that the six of us had to yell at each other to be heard, and my food was terrible. I ordered the fish and chips along with the onion stack appetizer. The onions were undercooked and soggy. The waffle chips were overcooked and tasteless, and the fish was soggy with undercooked breading. The F&C presentation (fish on top of chips) was such that when I cut into the filet, chips spilled over onto the table. To make things worse, the server heard an order from one of us and sped off into the kitchen w/o taking any of our other orders. She repeated that a few times. Then, when the food was served, two of the six meals were passed over and close to my face, rather than taking the time to walk around the table to serve each individual. Would I return? Likely not!

My food must have been prepared first as the meat loaf was cold, however everyone else had a hot dish. By the time I had a chance to eat, everyone at my table was done)Cleanliness - 1.8 (Bathroom floor was covered in urine, dish washer walking the floor looked filthy with his hat crooked, caught a glimpse of the kitchen floor which also lacked.)Atmosphere - 3.7 ( It's an appealing little place, whoever did the building layout lacked a few marbles. The door dash door is opened every other minute, letting in the nice brisk 14°F air. We had to move our table because they done have the door in a turned corridor, and the wind just jets into the seating area.Overall,If you want a quick decent meal it's not bad. The prices aren't flattering considering it's mediocre at best as you view the entire experience.Don't go here expecting to be blown away.They were great when they opened.After this experience they are just another slowly fading overpriced under delivering restaurant that the owner seemed to have lost energy for. If it weren't half bar, they would probably have gone out of business by now.
Our service was perfect Ed our server was knowledgeable. The manager Jenny was very hands on and let us know about your seasonal dishes. We will definitely be back.
After going to three different restaurants that either had long waits for seating or short on staff we were about to get fast food BUT we decided to try Masons. Why haven’t we been here sooner. There was no wait even though the restaurant was super busy. Our server came out (marina) and got our food order and drinks right away. The lady in charge Jenny was everywhere. What a great place. The food was delicious and hot. Great establishment
