Parking lot looked full. Was seated right away. If food was delicious. Girl cleaning tables after customers left was very thorough.
9:35 am I wanted to order off the menu something that isn't offered till 10am (grilled cheese!!) & the rude waitress wouldn't let me order it because its not 10am.Never asked a cook or manager just told me no VERY rudely and short.. Um how about if this was a kid ordering it. Not everyone eats breakfast...... and aren't we close enough to 10am to at least ask if an exception could be made?Then everytime she came to the table she wouldn't even address me only my teenage daughter.Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Not even close to family friendly.
Stumbled on this little gem after visiting the indoor Kenosha farmers market. Two family members had breakfast food, it was just after 10 am so I had lunch option. Large portions of everything and I came home with half my food because I was full. Cowboy chicken sandwich was very good. Staff was very friendly and it was wheelchair accessible.
Wonderful Mom and Pop Family Restaurant. Friendly staff and excellent food. Reasonably priced with HUGH portions. ?????
First rate smiley wait staff, even though it was New Years Eve. 45 minutes to closing, and 3 off duty servers, we're cashing out, she buzzed around doing the last of today's tables. I went for something small and she was as attending as if we did full meal. Soup & Salad. Great Lil woman. Great soup. After being a restaurant owner, chef and worker 40 yrs, let me say.. I AM PICKY.
The food was great and better than Denny's or IHOP in my opinion. Waitress was accommodating for a large family and provided friendly service. Food came out quickly and coffee was constantly topped off. Loved this place.
No frills but good breakfast food and fast service. My western omlet was big but could have used more cheese. Butter on toast is some kind of oil. Coffee is pretty good and I am picky about my coffee.
The Hillcrest Omelet is a must! Good service, friendly staff, will return.
