pulled pork was soo tender and the brisket was amazing
Restaurant was dirty when I entered, could slide on floors while walking in
1.) The staff seemed to have that "we don't want you in here" attitude, despite being completely empty during dinner hours. You hate your jobs; I get it. Don't take it out on me, though.2.) I paid over fifteen dollars for a sandwich, a small Styrofoam container of beans, and a handful of waffle fries. The sandwich and fries were both cold and tasteless, and I've had better beans from a can.(Consider: If I can spend less for more, and better-tasting, chow at a McDonald's, you're doing something wrong, folks.)3.) Not even three hours after eating, I became nauseous, and puked it all up. No, I'm not being hyperbolic. I vomited up the entire contents of my stomach.My first and last time eating at a Dickey's.
Tried to place my order with the app but couldn't. Went inside for the 2 for 25 deal and was told it's 29 they don't honor the app price.Then didn't have burnt ends,and one other meat I forget which. They also charge for ice cream now, so we left
My wife and I come to dickeys a couple times a year but we have not been here in about 8 months. Decided to stop and get food today and we walk in one women is sitting on a table another one is sitting in front of the smoker both on there phone. The guy at the counter was rude and trying to pushing us to order faster. Once are food came out one of the women was rude with an attitude and asked what we ordered. The pulled pork was a bit dry the BBQ beans had no flavor to them and the potato salad also had no flavor. There was also posters falling off the walls and it seemed like no one cared and they had been coming off for a while. I will not comeback unless something changes.
Well I had not been to a Dickeys I. A while since it closed in Gurnee. So today I happened to be in Kenosha Wisconsin and stopped by.My mouth was watering for the taste but it turns out that after eating I was still disappointed. The food was cold and even more it was not fresh. I had ribs, brisket, polish, okra, green beans and okra.Because of this I will not be back for a while. Not sure what happened but the quality or something has changed.
I been to Dickeys numerous times at different locations. I have always enjoyed their food. But this one is by far the worst. The atmosphere is outdated. The meat was dry and the portions were bad. I purchased the 2 meat plate (ribs and pulled pork). I received 2 ribs with hardly any meat on it. The meat was dry. My wife ordered the pulled pork mac stack. The meat was dry and burt. It was very bad. Do not waste your time at this location. We were there because the Texas Roadhouse had a 50min wait. We opted to go to this dickeys instead. Wrong choice. Only 3 customers walked in during our 1hr stay. Its dead and i know why. Never again.
Food was great! They also gave my son a free ice cream out of the blue ! Awesome people working here ! Very clean inside too! I will be back !
It's expensive but it's totally worth it, extremely delicious. Kids eat free when you dine in on Sunday, maybe only for one. Just found out they have beer too.
I enjoyed pulled pork and brisket sandwiches with waffle fries and jalapeño beans. A little on the expensive side but nowadays, what isn't? Would recommend ?
