Our family looks forward to Big Star every season. It’s good, affordable food and such a fun experience. The only complaint I have is they don’t stay open long enough (season-wise). If they could be open at least through the end of September or October, that would be great!
Cool Americana drive-in.You can try to call ahead, but a lot of times they don't answer the phone.Very busy in spring and summer.They usually close around Labor Day weekend for winter.
Great old time drive in! (No roller skates though!). Great food and ice cream treats. More custard like than soft serve. Hamburgers are served with sweet grilled onions. Service was fast and pleasant.

April 1st Big Star has been open for about a month now. Still have 3 rows filled with cars every time I go past. First time here this year. Called ahead and line was busy for a few minutes.
Quality has gone WAY down. Size of a double burger is less than a child's size burger now. The staff seems overworked and unhappy. Sad this place used to be amazing.
It had been a long while since I've been there, but they don't disappoint me with the quality of food, and service; can not wait to go back for a good lunch.
