PLEASE CLOSE THIS LOCATION!!I want a burrito with chicken, they were out of the chicken and the rice. Ordered chicken BBQ taco meal. Spouse got small taco salad. We received our drink cups Then... weee told they haveno ice, the machine/s wrent working.Asked for ketchup for the potato Oles. No ketchup! You ask for a decent wage yet yiu fail to do YOUR job. Bad management. I feel sorry for the franchise owner and hope they see this review and make necessary changes to be a successful business. We drove several miles to visit this location as there are none in our area. Extremely disappointed!!
Great food as always and you have an employee that went well above what one would normally do his name is Jermaine Douglas he said he wanted to train to be a manager and I think he would make a great one I ordered a taco salad and was told they didn't have any bowls made but he came over and said if we were willing to wait a few minutes he would have someone make one for us and we did and in less than five minutes he brought us our food and even gave us a little something extra for waiting. That's what a good manager would do so I think that you should make him a manager in training.Thank You Jermaine for your excellent customer service.
Update: after not visiting the location for nearly a year I decided to visit again. TJ has been great in other towns, maybe Janesville has gotten better. Long story short it hasn't.If I was corporate, I'd close this location down and sell it immediately. Not only was the staff rude, the drive through took nearly 25 minutes and the burrito had ingredients that were supposed to be removed, while NOT including a few that were supposed to be there. The burrito was essentially falling apart and the meat was nearly a patty, not ground and seasoned at all. Beyond dissatisfied with this location. I'd rather have ramen than to eat at Janesville Taco John's.--Such a unique culinary experience is rare for a fast food restaurant. The menu displayed in the drive through is more of a suggestion to the kitchen staff; to help guide them to make the entree choices they feel are correct for you.If you place an order for the new quesadilla taco with beef, they might make the decision that chicken would fit your pallette better. Your requests of "no tomatoes and no onions" will surely fall on deaf ears as vegetables are a staple of a healthy diet. When you have a bit of a drive ahead of you and request no ice in your drink (because who likes watered down beverages?), be aware they may still include the ice in hopes of getting you properly hydrated.TLDR, 8 trips over the last 2 months and literally 8/8 drive through orders have been incorrect. Food is great when it's actually made correctly, however.
Stopped at 11:10am on Saturday, March 19th. Walked to dining room entrance and tried both doors which were locked and so I turned around and went to my vehicle. About this time, an employee unlocked a door and indicated dining room wasn't open until 11am. When I pointed out it was 11:10am he just had shrugged with a blank expression.
Such an underated restaurant. This one used to have slow service and mediocre quality, but it has done the hokey pokey and turned itself around. My favorite fast food in the area.
Cold tacos, stale nachos, and crusty hard soft tortillas. Not a person in the place or drive thru……. Now I know why.
Good ol taco John's. Best food and the building hasn't been updated since the 80s
I get the potatoe oles with side of gaucamole. Yummy?
This is the worst place to eat. I went there yesterday and the 2 ladies working were rude and ignorant. Served my food cold and old. It was disgusting. The normal 2 ladies that are normally working always made our food hot and fresh. They were the only reason we continued coming there. My family and friends are boycotting this place. Health inspectors definitely need to inspect this place.
Extremely disappointed, ordered a chicken boss bowl, the rice tasted like it had a pound of salt in it, the chicken had an odd, strong taste as well, like it was over-seasoned, I cannot recommend this location, the one and only bad experience I have had at a Taco John's.
