We love Mod pizza but always dread going to this location. It seems like the manager is horrible to the employees or something, every time we go they look like they're about to get in trouble. Not super friendly, it feels awkward. And sooooooo skimpy on toppings!!!! They hardly put anything on the pizza. We prefer to drive to the Lake Geneva location.
Arrived about 5 minutes before 8pm yesterday a Friday night only to see a pizza paper taped on the door that said closed, seriously! Why have store hours at all!! Don't like wasting my time and GAS for nothing.....
Great service, the staff was all friendly and super accommodating to our requests. I got a custom pizza and salad and they were both great. I'm disappointed we don't have one of these in Minneapolis - I'd definitely come back! They weren't afraid to show their message of inclusiveness and equality throughout the building art, diversity of the staff and food options. Very happy to support this business.
Mod pizza in Minneapolis is great. This location needs some new help. Borderline rude if you have questions, no desire to work. Our greeting when walking in was rolled eyes.and a lethargic attitude. I don't expect fine dining service at a Mod pizza place but I do expect a friendly greeting.and some interest in service, I mean they are paying these people correct?
I had never been to Mod Pizza. In fact, I'd never heard of it. However, it was very good. Party of 6, 5 pizzas and 1 salad. The person behind the counter was very friendly and speedy at building the said pizzas and salad. The process was quick and the food was delicious. Moderately priced, but we got the bang for the buck.
Went there for the first time since the pandemic. The place was filthy. The pizza(which I remember as very goid) was terrible. Think of the worst frozen pizza you have ever had then imagine it below that in quality and flavor.
Build your own pizza and salad! Delicious! The pear iced tea is wonderful! I've been here several times.
I arrived at this restaurant at 7:52 p.m. and was greeted by an eye rolling female employee... When I attempted to place my order an older gentleman employee approached us at the counter. He refused to serve us. His excuse: "We close at 8:00 p.m." I pointed out the time.. He didn't argue it...still refused. Frustrating!
I love love love ordering from here! I usually do delivery which is quick and the staff is always super fun and friendly!!
I went in for the first time today to try based on the reviews and had a bad experience. It started off great but halfway through the manager (Scott I think) took over and was incredibly rude. He kept rushing me through, even though there was no one behind me. Ex. What do you want, what do you want, what do you want without explaining options. Since very few things are labeled, some added help is needed. Also any choice just seemed an inconvenience and a frustration. I don’t know if it was due to end of rush or what. Facility was clean, pizza ended up up good, just felt like hurry up and get out.
