Headed from Kentucky to LaCrosse WI and stopped in to grab dinner. The food was hot and delicious. Not to mention, the staff was really friendly and efficient.
Stopped in for lunch today and had the Badger Burger and it was great! With everything on it the bun stayed together and was hardly messy. Service was prompt and food arrived quickly. I will certainly be returning to try other meals.
I visited The Looking Glass after a delightful visit to the Rotary Botanical Gardens. I was not disappointed. It was the perfect eatery to cap off a lovely day spent in Janesville. The staff was friendly, the menu offered variety and the small but welcoming outdoor patio was perfect to soak in the sunshine over a good meal. My friend and I split both the pulled pork sandwich and the chicken pesto wrap. Both were delicious and filling. The fried onion ring on the pork sandwich set it apart from the usual. I would definitely visit again.
Nice bar. We went to see some comedians last night. Very funny. Since it is so small, hard to get drinks in the bar during the show. They didnt serve food during the show. I would return.
My wife and I stopped in for the first time for breakfast last Sunday. We couldn’t have been more impressed and happy. The atmosphere was Great for 9:30am on a Sunday. The staff was everything. Happy, engaging, and down to earth. We will be back!!!
Sunday brunch is so yummy! Drinks are awesome and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It’s a great gem downtown. Food is always a hit. Wish the inside of the restaurant was bigger tho! We will be back. Highly recommend - have a yummy drink and choose something from the menu. You won’t regret it

I got the Italian beef and it was fantastic and my partner got a veggie grilled cheese that she really liked, service was solid and the environment was unique. Would definitely go back!
I'm not usually one to complain about bad restaurant experiences. I understand people have off days. unfortunately after the experience I had at the looking glass today I felt the need to post. I arived at the looking glass with two friends, and we were sat immediately and we had waters brought to the table but we still needed a few minutes to look over the menu. after 10 minutes go by no sign of our waitress and two new customers were sat at the table next to us. another 10 minutes still no sign of our waitress and the two customers that came in 10 minutes or so after us now have had there drinks and food orederd. 10 minutes later the two customers have now been served their food and at that point we were so upset we decided to leave . I know I should have atleast brought this up to the manager but I honestly just wanted to leave .
This place is amazing!.!.!.!. To say the least... great food great staff can't go wrong hidden gem in downtown Janesville.... if in the area don't pass it up
