Disappointed with our last visit this month. Usually food is pretty good this time it was not. We have to wait an hour and a half to get her food after being seated. Total visit was 2 1/2 hours. We ended up spending over $110 on the gift shop which was an exciting experience for my wife and I that was probably the highlight of our visit. As you can see by the photos were food the ham was disgusting. Most of the food was not very good looking.
A mix between a family style restaurant and a handcraft store. The store is great and very creative. The decor of both spaces is really awesome. The food is just OK. I confess I was expecting way more quality and quantity. The restaurant is very noisy (as you would expect for this kind of space) and very busy all the time. There are always lots and lots of people and, if you don't make a reservation, prepare to wait around 30 - 45min.
My kid's wanted to go to breakfast and told me cracker barrel was nice . I know everyone is short staff but we waited almost an 1 HOUR till we got our food .The waitress we had was awful. Other people were coming in placing there order's and getting there food right away with different waitress . FROM THE Beginning She said she didn't know if she was ready for this day I should of realized it was going to be bad. Food was Luke warm ,not all the food came out that was ordered ,All and all a bad experience . I will go back but if she is assigned to us I will ask for another waitress.
So we hadn’t been to a CB in a long time and were excited about it. What a disappointment! The waiter was not attentive AT ALL and he had about 2 tables, including ours. Every time, I mean every time, he left the table he said “pardon me.” It was annoying! Who does that? My sons chicken was so over cooked it was not edible. They served my son fresh Mac and cheese and mine was clearly reheated. If I wanted microwaved food, I’d have gone to Walmart. My son opened some butter for his roll and it spilled all over him. They served MELTED butter for our rolls. My son finished his tea and was never offered more. The waiter never asked how the food was either. One positive is that he did offer to have them make new chicken, still over cooked. One piece in particular was even dark brown and obviously overcooked, still served it. They did take the chicken off the bill. However, I’d have rather paid for it and have my son feeling full! Train wreck. Won’t be back. Skip this one folks. Oh, one more thing. I ordered myself a single pancake bc they are usually so good here, as a treat. They charged me 4$ for it- one pancake. That’s nuts!
We had a nice visit for lunch. The meal was good and the service was efficient. It sure was nice to get an indoor meal at a restaurant. I recommend this Cracker Barrel. We used to stop by more often BC (before covid).
Covid review, so take this with a grain of salt post pandemic. Restaurant was slow, but service was subpar. Food was just over lukewarm. Serviceable I guess. No refills, nothing seemed very fresh, but we did get breakfast for dinner. Not pleased with service.
Great food and shopping. Fire in the fireplace today, so warm and comfy.

Had lunch here today.. didn't know what to expect as this place was suggested by a family member. Ordered their Sunday special - pot roast with a side corn bread . It came in this nice little container which was very pleasing to look at haha.. the container was still a little hot from the heat of the contents. Opened it up and it smelt delicious! Dug into it! One of the best pot roasts I've had. I didn't want to leave any broth, so took a straw and drank it all instead of using the spoon ??. The prices are very reasonable! This will be one of my go-to places everytime I pass through here..
