Tried A&W on Conde in Janesville about a month ago. Had 45min before a meeting, waited 25min & had only placed my order. Out of time and they still hadn't come out to take my $$ I left. Sitting here now, trying it again, I've had 3 different staff walk by to other cars and no one has taken my $$. Bout to drive off again & never come back. Tick tick, tick tock...
Walked in and i wasnt sure if we were supposed to be seated or not. One of the employees said sit wherever. We did and no one came to our table to give menus! I got my own at the front by the cashier sat then we ordered waters which they brought. Waited 5 more minutes and still no waiter.!! Eventually we did place an order with a young gal and after 20 minutes we decided to leave until i saw our order on the cooks counter, sat down another 5 minutes and still no order so we left. They had more than enough help. In fact each employee could of each taken a table and done fine. Sadly my fiancee has never been to an A&W and said never again.!!! Pathetic!
I wanted chili cheese dogs so my friends & I went to A & W. Yum! Hit the spot! I also had deep fried mushrooms. Yum, also! And their root beer.....I'm a fan. Forgot to take pics! All of our meals were great, the place was clean & our waitress excellent.
The Polar Swirl Is My Favorite, Cookie Dough Polar Swirl & A Hot Dog With The Works. Great Dinning Experience.
Not many A&Ws left in Wisconsin but this has the classic drive-in feel, and root beer floats that take me back DECADES. Will definitely be adding this to the date night list.
I got a large Root Beer Float. Warning!! This is a big float, don't order too much food. I ordered a Coney Dog and a single Hamburger. Everything was excellent. They even come to the table to take your order. Sorry no pics ? I will definitely be back.
I live abroad but grew up visiting this A&W as gran lived in the area. Came back to visit family and brought my German boyfriend to have the best homemade root beer as a float, cheese curds, and a burger. 3 weeks later and he is still raving about how good the root beer was and saying we must come back. I think he's a keeper - and so is the root beer stand!
Amazing all beef burgers. Rootbeer is made on site no carbonation. Never messy
We were just at the janesville [email protected] took forever. I get places are short staffed. But they took forever to take are order waited half hr to order then another 30+ minutes get our food which I went up and asked about had to get 8t to go since we had somewhere to be. Apparently it got marked as a to go order. Two other people came in after us and got there food. Just very un happy over the service we received today.
Spot on. Great burger and love my fries and root beer. My little guy ate his hot dog kids meal and i had to order another. He loved the whole experience.
