We love going to the Smilin Moose. We were there a few nights ago and had great food and excellent service. I don't normally write reviews, but felt compelled to leave a great review about our server, Eva. She was prompt, personable, and knowledgeable. Thank you Eva!
After being turned away from THE POST down the road because of our SERVICE DOG, The Smilin Moose as they always do allowed us entry with our Service Dog, Ellie, we had a great diner and the employees were wonderful!
This is a very active bar in Hudson! If you’re looking for a bustling environment, good food, a variety of drinks, attentive service and even late night music - the Smilin Moose Lodge Bar & Grill is for you! Parking can be a bit of a pain if you go during the busy hours, but it’s worth the walk! I got the Chicken Ranch Wrap with Fries and added Buffalo Sauce to the wrap! It was delish! Our server was incredibly kind, helpful, funny and attentive! Check it out if you’re in the area!
Ended up there for Valentines day. Bar tender was our waiter. Forgot to put our food order in. Sat without drinks for long time. Good food, bad service.
Came in with a larger group for my husband's birthday. Our server and all the staff were so patient with us and super nice. This was our first time here and everything was perfect!Great food, great drinks, great service!
The atmosphere is cozy but lively. The staff is friendly and enjoyable. The food is delicious, and the Bloody Mary is one of our favorites!
Went for lunch today, this is a really great lunch and dinner spot. Huge spacious restaurant with plenty of room to social distance. Our server Chelsea was amazing. Perfect timing and attitude. Food was very good and always consistent. I had my favorite, the pot roast. It was Supreme, super moist and tender. Plenty to take home with me too. My wife had the Tennessee chicken that she loved. The manager Joy is very good and stopped by as well. It was not very busy, and the food was very quick as it is even when they have been busy. The owner is also an Army Veteran.

My son said “ Dad let’s drive to Hudson, that steak is a buffet”. Indeed it is. Better get there before the new menus come out! Huge steak 20 bucks? Four sides? Crazy. The chicken wings , spicy are the best I’ve had. I never thought I wanted to eat here. Twice now. Seriously. It’s crazy!
