Food has improved since our last visit. It's still quite loud inside. But it's always busy, so thatsa good sign. Service was a lot slower than prior visits. I got iced tea with a straw. My first drink included a very long strand of lettuce sucked up through my straw! Thank God I didn't vomit and was able to move beyond that experience. Overall, it was decent.
This restaurant has a great Mexican atmosphere, fun to be there:) Very colorful decor, cute bar area & plenty of room for alot of people. Don't let the outside fool you, it doesn't look like it's big or impressive, but the inside didn't disappoint. Food was great, drinks were awesome.....we enjoyed everything & will be back
Had the Benji Special but filled up on chips and questions by accident ha! Was good but could've had more flavor. Their Top Shelf Margarita and queso though was amazing!!
First and foremost, the food here is great and the margaritas are excellent. There were two oddities that I thought detracted from our experience, hence the removal of 1 star.1. There are signs posted all over stating the bar is not open seating. My friend and I were actually sat at the bar. We didn't mind, but we also weren't asked. I view sitting at the bar versus the dining room as somewhat different experiences, so it would have been nice to have been offered the choice. I think this is why most restaurants offer the bar as open seating. Also, despite the several handwritten signs, there was still a couple that tried to sit next to us assuming it was open seating. It was awkward for everyone when they got kicked out. That couple left and spent $0.2. You are not allowed to order a drink from the bar while you are waiting for a table. This I couldn't wrap my head around. I get that moving the ticket might be an issue, but if that's too difficult for the staff just make me close out my bar tab right away. We waited for about 40 minutes after being told 20. It would have been a much better wait sipping on a delicious margarita. I think every other Mexican restaurant I've been to with a wait I've had a margaritas in the lobby, to the point where I look forward to the wait for a table because then I can chat and sip without feeling rushed. Imagine my surprise getting told no when trying to order at the bar. Weird. I think the front of house manager should rethink this policy.Finally, this is a great place for families with kids, and again, the food was excellent. The drinks were a little on the pricy side.
Attentive staff and huge portions. Was charged dinner prices during the lunch hours shown on the menu though. The meat was badly overcooked, barely seasoned, and served cold. If you're just desperate for a waiting staff and some good chips and salsa this place delivers... but taco bell doesn't cost $20 per person and at least serves your food before it goes cold.
Had a wonderful dinner here. The atmosphere and decorations are beautiful and make you feel welcomed. It is truly impressive. The menu is quite large with lots of choice. Our server was a little slow and I don't think my margarita was made with Herradura tequila as I asked for. The margaritas was very sweet. The chips and salsa were excellent though, just the right crispness and not greasy chips while the salsa tasted great, but maybe not super fresh. The portions are insanely HUGE.
This is one of our favorite places for Mexican food in Hudson. They have great weekday specials and great happy hour and their carnitas street tacos are amazing. They have pretty fast service too even on a busy night. Their white queso dip is great appetizer to go with chips and salsa too.
Loved the waiter - he was prompt and friendly. Food was amazing! My partner got fajitas rancheros and I got the choripollo. Both were fantastic quality and quantity.
Great food! Great drinks! This place runs like a well oiled machine. It was very busy, but we were seated quickly, orders taken quickly, drinks received quickly, food came out immediately when it was done. This positive experience hasn't changed at all, it's been great every time!
Everything was delicious and fast. We were seated right away, drinks and chips shortly thereafter. Dinner was fabulous. Highly recommend.
