The Walnut Room is a beautiful restaurant and bar in the historic Hotel Northland. Menu has something for everyone - steak, seafood and a pasta dish. Crab cake appetizer was great and accompanied by pickled vegetables, a nice compliment. Petite filet was cooked perfectly but scallops were overdone as was the gnocchi, which was disappointing. Wine list has good options in all price ranges. Breakfast was excellent. Will try again for dinner and hope food is better - but ambiance is fantastic.

Great place to eat for fine dining! Highly recommend the pork chops and the NY Strip. Food was excellent, deep fried goat cheese appetizer was awesome!
Absolutely beautiful restaurant, amazing service and the food was just as impressive. We were able to get in last minute and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. We got the cheese board (amazing), a wine off the list, steak and shrimp and ended the night with some baked Alaska. The aesthetic of the restaurant is very cool and has a classic elegance. Gives me an almost Great Gatsby mixed with The Stanley hotel vibe. My husband and I absolutely loved The Walnut Room and we will be back for more date nights. ❤️
Tremendous experience. Great service and great food. They even let us hang out a little longer than closing time to finish another round of drinks. I highly recommend the walnut room.

Out of scallops. For the expensive prices I would have expected a much higher quality meal. Drinks and server was very good.
My husband and I had a very delicious dinner at the Walnut Room last night. We both had a Caesar salad and the Elk Loin, which were both delicious and a very nice Cabernet. Before dinner, my husband had the Maple smoked old-fashioned and I had a lemon drop, which were also top notch. Our server, Laura, provided excellent service. We will definitely be back!
