Great way to start a road trip, or for that matter if you live in the Green Bay area, start your day. We started a ten day trip and day one was in Green Bay with breakfast at The Pancake Place. My companions had omelets all were delicious, large and over stuffed. I had the Chili Cheese Stuffed Hash Browns. A definite if you like a hearty breakfast and are a big eater. The omelets came with hash browns, order extra crispy.A table near us with children ordered a Banana Split Waffle for one of their kids. I do not know how she ate it all, it was huge. It started with a waffle then bananas, ice cream all covered with whipped cream and to finish chocolate sauce. Do you gotta sweet tooth ?!Finally the service was excellent EVERYONE was friendly and willing to help us. Especially SASSY, our server. ask for her when you stop. She will make your stop GREAT.This was our first time to The Pancake Place but we will definitely be coming back the next time we stay in Green Bay.

The food: Plentiful. Delicious. Quick. They don’t sacrifice quality for speed. They don’t sacrifice speed for quality. They deliver both. And they deliver it with good cheer and tasteful humor. The waitstaff all carried on with positive and friendly attitudes. They were attentive and helpful. We had the pleasure of being attended to by Mel. And what a treat that was! We will be back every chance we get and most definitely suggest this place to anyone we know who will be in the area. Keep up the great work everyone! Respect to the owner/s for obviously providing a great work atmosphere for those hard workers! And a big “Thanks for the great service” to Mel! She’s a keeper!

We first ate at the Pancake Place back in May 2019 while passing through Green Bay. I was really impressed, and gave it a five star rating. This time, our second visit, was just okay. We were here on a Tuesday morning, half full, not very busy. Service was not all that attentive. Coffee came quickly. Then we waited at least ten minutes for our server to take our order. Some of our silver ware didn't have spoons. My seat didn't have silver wear at all. Food was good. My wife said the syrup tasted a bit odd, like it had some kind of vanilla flavoring. Overall, we were less impressed this time.

We went there as our grandsons love pancakes. They were the only ones in our party that were satisfied. My scrambled eggs were very cold.toast barely toasted, cold with very little butter on the toast. I asked for more butter and the waitress didn't come back for a very long time. 2 people ordered crispy bacon and both were very rubbery and cold. The bacon is very thin and lacking flavor. My husband ordered o over easy eggs & they were well done. The country fried steak was as dry and tasted old. There seemed to be several employees but some were just huddled together visiting. Coffee wasn't very hot and weak. Our waitress didn't care about our issues when we bought them to her attention. We were all amazed they getting awards for food and service. When we left there other customers told us they had terrible food and service as well.

Amazing! Ordered a strawberry pancake, Denver omelet with hasbrowns. I will say first the food is great, if you go here be prepared to eat. The pancake is the size of a dinner plate and everything else is just as much. I was visiting my brother and we were here for breakfast on Monday morning and I'm still full Wednesday morning. Our server was great, tells you jokes and was all around great. I advise heavily to go visit and get good food and full. Amazing place and this will be a mandatory stop each I come up from Tennessee.

If you like huge, overly thick, tasteless "buttermilk" pancakes with generic imitation maple syrup then this is your kind of place. If you are looking for a tasty nutritious meal, keep driving.

Food was horrible. My chicken breast on my sandwich didn't cover half the bread it was very small. Half of that chicken was all fatty I couldn't even bite into it, i oulled it off and ate half a sanwich with tomato and cheese. The fries were overcooked and cold when brought out. Hash browns and bacon looked like they had been on the grill since 8am (we came in at 1pm) they were wayyy over cooked and disgusting. Pancake was rubbery and old, NOT fresh and fluffy. the lady next to us sat there for over 15 minutes before a waitress approached her. our waitress stopped back once about 5 minutes after we got our food, never came back after for drink refills. Biggest waste of money!!!! such a disappointment to see they went so downhill.

sent my pancakes back because they were very bitter, my boyfriend agreed. Waitress told me that “you just don’t like the oreo in it”….got new pancakes and throughout the whole thing was clumps of batter. waitress told me I was over exaggerating when I said I was just done and charged me for everything I got.

Came here had an awful experience. 15 minuets for a drink order, another 10 minuets to get the drinks. Terrible server but the food was amazing. Most likely not coming back here, just because of the service.
