We have been coming here for twelve plus years. I even purposed to my wife there. We arrived tonight for our ten year wedding anniversary. After waiting forty-five minutes(normal for a Friday in GB) we were seated for hibachi. We ordered, and asked for sushi as well. Only after the waitress took our order(well over $200) we were told sushi would be forty-five minutes to an hour to get. I checked and there were only two tables in the sushi dining area. After waiting another half an hour with only water(our drinks haven’t even come yet) we were served our miso soup and ginger salads, to find not one but a half dozen fruit flies in the salads. This isn’t acceptable at all. I asked to speak with the manager before we left, and she seemed completely indifferent to this and offered no apology. After many great memories and over a decade of patronage, we will sadly NEVER be back. You just lost life long customers!
Great place to gather with a group of friends and family. You can hang out in the sushi lounge and order from a large selection of sushi as appetizers or a meal. You can also head over to the hibachi grill that can seat up to 8 people. Your meal comes with soup, salad, your grill meal, tea and ice cream. You can mix and match 2 different proteins if you'd like. I chose salmon and chicken, my husband got chicken and beef. I highly recommend ordering fried rice along with your meal. The Grill Masters are very entertaining and you can tell they love what they do! The food is amazing as always and we look forward to our next visit.
This was the first time eating this "style " of watching your food being prepared in front of you.I guess I'm more the type of person that likes quiet. (lol) I could have done without the clanging of utensils being hit on the grill. lolHowever, the food (had shrimp and steak.) was very very good. (Thumbs up.)The fried rice was also very good. And we sertainly had plenty to eat. ☆☆☆☆☆
Celebrate my birthday there. My experience was amazing from beginning to end our cook was Ty he was funny and made the experience to another level. Loved it.
It was a little bit of a rocky start, we were there with another couple and 2 people got each other's orders. But, the waitress was attentive, the food was great, and the other 2 couples at our hibachi table were great. It was a nice dinner!
We love Ty, he's amazing! He can sing almost any song, does some amazing old country songs including Don't take the girl, Friends in low places, also Ground Control to Major Tom and lots of songs from the 90s and early 2000s. Having been born in the 80s it was a totally wonderful blast from the past. The food was delicious and the show was stunning ?
It was a very bad experience!two of the dishes we ordered didn't arrive, and then the kitchen closes.in addition, the manager behaved aggressively and hit the table when we complained.after all, we asked them to call the police. they claimed that we didn't want to pay the bill (which was wrong!)
If there was a ZERO. FKN. STARS. I. WOULD. GIVE. THEM. 1. FKN. MILLION. ZERO. STARS!!! I thought we give them a 2nd chance to serve us for an important family dinner, but OBVIOUSLY I was wrong! We even put our names down for the next reservation time slot, which the front desk lady told me that all of our party had to be there 15 mins prior. We arrived 30 minutes early prior to our time spot. A party of 8 showed up after we did and was seated before us. Another party of 2 showed up and was seated before us. I was told when it passed our reservation time that it would only be another 5 more minutes, which i waited another 10 more minutes and still nothing. This is horrible service. I WOULD NEVER bring my business there ever!!!!!
First time and last time I will go here. Got there at 6pm, had 3 non alcoholic drinks and had some appetizers. Waited an hour after my appetizers to be seated in the dining area. I noticed that several groups have gotten seated ahead of my group for some reason. Ordered Sushi which took forever to come out. When it finally came the temperature of the sushi was luke warm and the texture was like paste. Completely turned off my appetite and was finally able to get out after 10pm. Worst 4 hours at a restaurant
If you can overlook the host stand debacle, attitude and lack of friendlyness, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, entertainment at the Hibachi Grill and great food. After calling in a 5:00 pm reservation, later someone called and said our party of 4 would have to arrive at 4:45 pm. Both parties arrived at 4:30 pm and doors were locked until 4:50. The hosts just looked up as person after person tried the doors and then stood outside with us in the cold. When they finally decided to let us in, the host took our names, handed us a pager and told everyone as they checked in, the bar would not be open until 5:00 pm. Instructing us ALL to wait at the crowded front door until the table was ready. I was going into the bar area anyway to seat my parents who are older and cold from waiting outdoors. They bar would not wait on us (their problem for not selling drinks) but we understood, as it was obvious they are not put on the payroll to be ready to serve guests in a timely matter. First party in the door to check in....last party to be sat. Once we were seated at the Hibachi table, the service greatly improved and it was a pleasant meal experience. The Chefs do the same "tricks" with your food that are pretty standard but entertaining. The courses included in the Hibachi meal were all delicious. The Sushi tables are in a separate area.
