Nice , reasonable indoor and outdoor seating.
Great food and great service
It was like an Applebee’s on steroids. This has to be the most disappointing meal we have ever experienced. The ribs were mediocre, the baked potato was hard as a rock and not as tasty, there was a piece of some kind of roll that looked like it had fallen in the floor and been stepped on and also inedible. My spouse’s meal was even worse. We were still munching on the chips and the waitress shows up and literally lifted the plate away while we were eating. Never got a refill on my soda, nor was ever asked if I’d like one. She must have realized how bad the food was as she never asked how it was. I cannot think of a single positive thing to say about this experience. Inexcusably expensive for such subpar mediocre banal food and pathetic service. Our first and last trip here.
Six of us went to Mackinaws for the Mother's Day buffet and were very disappointed. The buffet was $25 per person and the food was terrible. The quality was poor and the food trays were very slow to get refilled. The buffet is also set up in a corner so it is hard to get to the different stations. I would not recommend.
Mother's day Brunch was fantastic and reasonable priced. Probably why they were so busy. The staff handled the large number of people like the professionals they are.
This was my first time dining there. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance. Food and service were stellar!
Great food and AWESOME service! Anthony T. was our server and he was super cool and funny. Definitely made the experience a great one. This guy needs a raise! ? Also, I highly recommend the perch, I know sometimes perch can have a fishy taste, but the perch was delicious.
Our waitress was friendly and prompt. The food was marginal. Be careful if you're looking for vegetarian options; you're pretty much limited to certain salads and sides, and when I asked about vegan options, our waitress proceeded to tell me about various chicken options, admitting that she wasn't too up on vegan options. They really do need at least a couple vegan options on their menu. They have a modest selection of drinks, including some good bourbons.
This place is very Wisconsin! Lots of wood and brown and a very cozy feel. Wide ranging menu. We went with the chimichanga and the chicken pesto gnocchi, which were both good. Top notch cheese curds. Full bar with lots of beer and specialty drinks. Our waitress was terrific! The fireplace out front is a nice touch.
We went for St Patrick's day. Service was impeccable our waitress was so nice. Had to move to dining area. There was a live band in the lounge ? we ate in the dining room
