The lyric room was great. Good sound and friendly staff but truly the band "source" is where it's at. Check them out!!

The Lyric Room has been a staple and THE go to location for some of the best rock n roll shows I've seen the last few years.I've been fortunate enough to meet the promoter and he's got it dialed in very well there.Reasonably priced drinks, amazing music, and great times!Pics are from a show I saw there last month:Edison Hollow and Sons of KongAbsolutely killer show!
Did a comedy show here recently & they have a really nice, intimate setup for it. Music or comedy, worth going to.
I wasn’t really a fan of the staff, a bit gruff, tho the bartender for the event I was at was dressed very well and was pleasant. Otherwise, I think I heard the owner yelling at one of his employees? It was awful to hear the yelling. Everyone at my table was like a deer in headlights. All in all, I’d suggest looking elsewhere for your event. If your pressed for time, hopefully you’ll get the same kind bartender ?♀️
Unprofessional and rude. Absolutely would never recommend hosting an event here ever.Response to the owner's response:First, we were told MULTIPLE times by the event coordinator that we could come 2 hours before the event to set up. ( members of my family who were there heard this as well) ok, not the case? a misunderstanding? no problem, it happens... BUT THEN FOR THE OWNER WILL TO SCREAM IN MY FACE about how I am throwing his employees under the bus, etc. How is that professional? I never once raised my voice when I was asking why the room wasn't set up, when THEY WERE THE ONES WHO TOLD ME TO COME 2 HOURS BEFORE. I don't care what you think we did, it never gives you the right to treat your customer's that way. as for the people bringing in their own booze, the prizes for the games had one can of beer in it- no one was bringing in outside drinks for consumption during the event. REGARDLESS, HOW IS IT ACCEPTABLE FOR YOU TO SCREAM AT YOUR CUSTOMERS ?!- IT IS NEVER OK- NEVER... I will continue to tell anyone who will listen to never book at your establishment, for the sheer unprofessionalism of the staff and owner.***again, you’re responses to this review clearly display your unprofessionalism. Exhibit A- if anyone looking to book at your establishment looks at the other poor reviews that were left here and read your responses - they will see that you are defensive. You don’t accept responsibility for anything. But it’s your customers fault right ? Never yours - markings of a poor business owner.
I cannot believe the lack of professionalism that came from the owner of this venue. The fact that you can sit there and yell in the face of a paying customer behooves me. Instead of just admitting faults where they were. They decided to lie and gaslight us, trying to make it seem like it was our fault ridiculous. Lying in the responses back to make it seem like we were at fault, is the game of a child. Unbelievable.

Nice place for a small concert. Plenty of room, back bar, and also a great place to have showers. I've been to 3 baby showers and a wedding shower here.
Here for a wedding. Space is very cozy and cute. Staff was friendly.
