Probably the most bland food I've ever had. I've heard many great things about this place and I really wanted to like it but it just was not good. Chili con queso was curdled. Beans tasted like the came from a can. Rice tasted like Uncle Ben's microwavable bags. Salsa tasted like chemicals. My boyfriend didn't even eat his food and was already talking about eating somewhere else before we left. The one star is because the waitress was nice and attentive. If you want Mexican food there are plenty of great places in town. This just isn't it.
I was born and raised 10 mins from the mexican border. We paid 100.00 for 5 people. My son ordered a hamburger medium rare he recieved it way over well done it was even crispy. The fries were really good though. My husband ordered carne asada which everywhere else is flank steak sliced thin marinated then chopped into small pieces this was more like fajitas thick pieces of steak in long strips the steak however was very nicely cooked not seasoned but cooked nicely. I had the chili relleno plate this is where we have some major problems. There was marinara sauce on my rellenos actual Italian marinara sauce on my mexican chili's there was more sauce than chili then the refried beans were not seasoned at all they were just beans and super super thick the spanish rice was terrible no flavor other than what I tasted as another marinara sauce just thiner and it was all sauce no spices at all. I tried to scrape the sauce off of the relleno and eat it I did make my whole family taste it so 1 relleno did get eaten but the rest of my plate went untouched besides a taste of each thing. When we left they asked how my visit was and I said it was terrible the girl at the check out seriously said guess you won't come back then huh and smiled at me. No offer to take the disgusting food off of my bill just sarcasm and a smile. No, I will absolutely never be back and I will never recommend this place to anyone. I will actively tell people to ***gasp*** just goto chili's thats pretty sad
Excellent atmosphere and food. Tables are spaciously arranged to provide sufficient privacy between patrons. Desserts are ice cream and pies (including cheesecake ?).Background music was mostly 70s and 80s, without playing annoying over your conversations. Recommend leaving a median tip or better as service was quick and efficient.
Always a great night out. Best Mexican food in town. Highly recommend the CCQ dip appetizer.
Chicken mole was dried up chicken breast with some mole sauce on top. Guacamole was mixed with something else, waitress answer was evasive, sour cream? I cant believe they were so busy. Many more good Mexican restaurants in GB to pick from.
Two different meals, but they looked almost the same! Can you see the tamales? What about the Chile Relleno? Personally, I did not care for the red sauce and cheese all over the place, it really took away from the flavor. The whole plate basically tasted the same.
We have done take out many times, always wonderful, since new ownership the food has no flavor and we've had multiple orders messed up. The last time was this last Saturday spent almost $100 dollars on take out, got it to the house and one order was completely wrong. We called them and were told you have to come back in (25 minute drive) to have your credit card credited back or they'll just send a gift card well, the gift card came for $10. The meal alone was $18, never again!
Outstanding food...we all had something different and we all loved our choices. We had a wonderful server...I think her name was McKenna. She took great care of us and Los is lucky to have her!
Hostess was not the friendliess person. Waitress however was excellent. Our Top Shelf Margaritas and Shrimp Tacos were awesome. Chips and salsa were a plenty. Price was fair. Would eat here again.
Got there knowing it was gonna be busy. Was told there would be about a 3 minute wait to be seated. Half hour later we were still in the bar area and watched 3 groups come in after us be seated before us. Unacceptable. Super dissapointed to have such an experience like this from a place I've loved since childhood on the East side. Don't live in the area anymore so when I get to go it was exciting.
