My wife and I came to Highland Howies for a Friday Fish Fry. This place was packed and expected to wait over a hour for some delicious fish. We waited and waited, but it was well worth the wait. I had fried Perch Plate and my wife had the Baked Haddock, both were excellent. We ended up sitting at the bar and the service we received was excellent. I would highly recommend this place if your in the Green Bay area, if your there on a friday, 1 recommendation, get there early if you dont want to wait for over a hour.
Was told an hour wait which was fine as it’s a Friday during lent. Waited about an hour and 15 minutes and then just decided to eat at the bar. Staff was very friendly and drinks were good. Food was below average and definitely not worth the long wait. We won’t be back.
Froglegs were good. One of our favorite places to dine at on Friday fish night! Great service. The staff is one of the best parts.
Great spot for a fish plate. They have a fairly diverse “bar food” menu, likely something to suit about anyones taste. Easy phone ordering and pickup.
Was a busy night but the HH crew did not disappoint. Philly ?? was on point (I'm pretty sure they sliced up their prime rib for it) Only downfall was that it was $15 and didn't include a side but I guess that's life with 7% inflation
REALLY busy. Sat at bar and had a glass of ice with soda. After 30 minutes and not even being offered a menu or chance to order, left. Food is supposed to be good but didn't see any food served in the place when I was there. No tables available to sit down at and eat dinner. Maybe a better experience on a different night.
Ive been a regular for a few years and I have to say that since the new takeover Im finding the food sub par. If you like ambience with no regard to wait time and food quality, this is the best place to go. People are nice, bartenders are attentive and its a great time at the bar. Wait times are exhausting and by the time my food comes, I gobble it down from being starved. The food has been undercooked or too greasy...I like food so my visits have been toned down. Trying to find a place with good fish without the wait.
Hadn't been there in a few years, but this is one of those places that (thankfully) doesn't change! Food is still excellent and maybe even faster than I remember. I ordered the perch plate and it was great! And I asked for fries extra crispy and they actually came that way?All that said, the best part was the staff! In these days when everyone's seems stressed, they seem to have fun and be friendly and welcoming❤
While it was very busy on a Tuesday night the wait staff was EXCELLENT!!! As expected it took a bit longer to get the food due to the amount of customers but the food was as good as the staff, excellent!
