Ordered a couple of subs for pickup at the GB Washington Street location. My sub came with one slice of meat (on the entire sub), tomato, and a giant gob of mayo. It was supposed to be decked with bacon onions, etc. and NO mayo. Normally, this wouldn't be much other than disappointing. However, when I called to ask for a replacement, the employee interrupted me and told me they weren't taking orders (it was 7pm). When I clarified why I was calling, he said he didn't care he was too busy and hung up.
First and last time eating here.Soggy bread like it was sitting in water. Both the Beacon and the Meatzilla cheesesteak were cold, neither of them even had melted cheese. And such an appetizing side piece of bread. This looks like it came out of the garbage. There wasn't a line, there wasn't a counter full of orders, just lazy employees at its finest.*NOT MADE WITH LOVE*
Food was cold. Was expecting toasted bread maybe with the meatzilla. But the bread was mush and the meat bacon and cheese was refrigerator cold. Disgusting. I dont even think id consider eating a possible refund if i got one. Fiance and i both thought the sandwiches were bad. Extremely sloppy too.
Best subs in all of Wisconsin! Their employees are delightful and thoughtful.
Such a disappointing lunch at Erberts and Gerberts located inside Mobil gas station near Sam's Club, Walmart and Festival foods on Mason Street. I ordered the pick-two and chose a cup of broccoli cheese soup ( it was very small and not near 8 oz. and a half bbq brisket sandwich which was 4" and served cold ! The total without chips or a even a drink was over $10 ! I could have gone across the street and had Chili's unlimited soup, salad, plus chips n salsa lunch for $7.49 ! One employee working. The guy in front of me waited around for approx. 5 minutes until he saw the "bell" to ring for service. S.l.o.w. service.
I personally want to give a shout out to Jake. His customer service was spectacular and his sandwich skills are superlative. I'm from Georgia and been Wisconsin going on 2 1/2 years he makes some of the best sandwiches I've ever tasted and I've been from Georgia all the way to California. If anyone reads this and stops in at this Erbert and Gerbert 's on N. Washington Ave. tell him Robert aka " Big Country"said to give y'all the works. You can thank me later!!!
The couple ups and soups are my fave. But the menu is real nice. Can almost pick anything. Always hot.
I went there about a year ago and found a hair In my food and was very upset. I understand it is very late to report this but I do not recommend.
One of my favorites!! Tamekka
