I wish the place was more lenient, the bouncers kick people out for silly reasons and it stems from their insecurity, that is why they’re a bouncer I guess, just wish the bar had a more relaxing feeling and then I’d go a lot
I had just arrived in town for a business trip. It was a little before midnight and I wanted to walk the strip. The first place I felt comfortable enough to walk into was this place. The place seemed really nice. It was late so I walked toward the door to see what else Green Bay had to offer. And a gentleman asked me if I was okay. I thought that was so sweet of him. I told him I was fine and that I was just exploring. After walking out, I realized there wasn't much more I could explore so I walked back in to get a quick drink and that same gentleman wouldn't let me back in. I thought he was joking. I asked him why and he replied, "Because you're not right in the head tonight, you're spacey." I still thought he was joking. I didn't realize he was the bouncer. He wasn't standing at the entrance. I had made it in a ways. I thought he was some local that frequented the bar and was just playing a joke on me. I looked around to the people standing behind him. A female playing darts said, "You must be high on shrooms or something." My heart sank. I was excited to be in a new city. I was just happy to find a cool little bar. That is not something anyone has ever accused me of. I look back at the guy and he echos the girl. He is asking me to leave because he thinks I'm high. Listen, I get that entrance to places like this are at the discretion of the staff. But, the way that whole scenario played out really hurt my feelings. The joy was knocked out of me for the night. I walked back to my hotel in tears. It's late, I had 2 flights get delayed today. I was just happy to have made it.
Depending on the night it's not bad for a Washington Street bar. The bar tenders are normal. It's a small bar but they get a big crowd. Definitely not the place to be if you want to move without being touched. More of a college bar so the closer to bar close the stronger the smell and stickier it will get.
My review is from an installers perspective. I have been doing business with the owner for several years, he has gone very much out of his way to make that bar a very well run establishment. He has stopped at nothing to provide good entertainment for his customers. The amount of time and money max has invested in his customers is unreal. We put in all the audio and video and in the last couple years he has upgraded every part of his system to where he has one of the better sounding bars in all the green Bay area. All nice jbl equipment. Max has been awesome to work with over the years and we love to see him be successful.
Cool bar with a friendly staff. But really cold bathrooms.

Just wanted to apologize for my last time here. I came in with some friends around 1:40am and heard last call. We spent some time at other bars before so I was a little tipsy walking in (not that it's an excuse for my behavior). Hearing last call that early (closed at 2am) made me a little upset so I kept turning to me friends and saying "Don't worry they're the ones losing money". The bouncer at the time, who won't be named, said I was getting annoying and that really hit me. I didn't intend on being annoying or frustrating anyone here, so hearing that kind of hurt (as it should). The bouncer (a larger, younger man with a beard) did a very good job for the time we were there. He set me straight as I needed it, and did a very good job of keeping an eye on the bar while we were there. If possible please tell this bouncer he is doing a great job and that a customer (Matthew) is sorry for their actions towards him. Great bar and great environment. Bouncer took his job very seriously (in a good way). 100% recommend this bar to anyone in Green Bay.
Drinks were good, bouncers were aggressive.I tried to leave the bar and first was blocked and then was harassed for trying to leave. Extremely unprofessional. I'll frequent different bars instead.
My first time at this establishment - mixologist Sam made my experience unforgettable. will be returning soon
