My husband and I looked everywhere for a venue, and fell in love with this place! Perfectly placed downtown, and the perfect sized room, we couldn’t have asked for better! Nicole made sure that we got exactly what we wanted, from the backdrop to the perfectly placed tables and chairs. She stepped up to help when we realized we missed decorations, needed to play ceremony music, and not having a candle holder for our unity candle? No problem- she appeared with one! Such small things to some, but being the night before- it was much bigger! The day of she made sure to find me, and continuously check to make sure there was nothing else she could do, which was perfect! Nicole even let us use the entire area and space for pictures, and they turned out wonderful.
We had our wedding ceremony & Reception here. It was the last place we checked out and we fell in love with the venue, food and Nicole- the incredible human behind it all. We wanted a venue that included everything: Food, music, great location, decor, staff, and good photo ops. We found it at Backstage! Our menu was incredible, there was no bad option. We utilized the theater for some photos, had our reception in the exposed brick area with elegant lighting and decor. Nicole played the role of chef, wedding coordinator, planner and my personal assistant. And she exceeding our expectations with EVERY role she played. We will never forget this day.
I was hoping to book this venue for my wedding but after almost a month of trying to set up a tour, I’m giving up. The head chef is also the event coordinator and it seems like she might have too much on her plate. I’m really bummed this didn’t work out as the venue seems really great.

I can't imagine having had my wedding reception anywhere else but Backstage. It was perfect in every way! Nicole and all of the staff were extremely friendly, I felt like family every time we talked. The food was absolutely amazing. We got a lot of compliments! The space decorated itself, we really didn't need to do a lot to decorate more. The size was perfect for our wedding with roughly 115 guests. Every question I had along the planning process (which was a lot), was answered. On the day before and of the wedding, some staff switched around their schedule's to make sure they would be there when we arrived for some little touch ups we had to do. Everything went smooth throughout the night. There wasn't a single hiccup all night that I knew of! Thank you so much for everything Backstage!!
