Visited from out of town and was not disappointed. Loved the new building style. Lobby was clean and bright. Staff was very friendly.Love those potatoe ole's ❤️❤️
1st time. Last time. My blind grandmother can throw together a taco better than this for 6.99 or whatever the hell I paid for it. Shameful.
Was looking forward to some more variety, so disappointing. Fryers weren’t working, taco shells were hard on the edges like stale. Nothing but brown lettuce with a spoonful of meat.Beef burrito? Couldn’t find any beef. Only live three minutes from there and even thou I waited over 8 minutes at the window it was all cold. Won’t be eating there any time soon.
My husband and I went to the new Taco John's last night for supper. I ordered combo number 1. I was very disappointed, my taco had smeared quacamole on the inside paper and honestly like maybe 2 tbsp of meat, no lettuce, no salsa sprinkles of cheese. I didn't want to take it back up to the counter because it seemed like everyone was goofing off and I didn't want something bad done to my food. The 2nd taco was a little better, it did have lettuce and salsa but same amount if meat. We have frequented taco John's for years so I know the tacos are usually decent. I feel like I should be refunded.. I might try the new place once more but if it's that stingy, we won't be back
If you need any accommodations made to your food…. Just don’t go here. Got a burrito bowl and asked for no beans. I knew my order was going to be wrong when I realized the workers communication was bad and the girl at the window did not understand how to use the system, I ask for no beans because they make me very sick. I got beans and sent the bowl back they acted as if they remade it when they only scrapped the beans off and put more salsa and sent it back. The steak in the bowl was good but the rice was undercooked. The tacos were mediocre and they forgot to put my entire order in my bag. Spent 25 dollars when I could’ve just went to qdoba.
Bought super nachos,taco salads, and a super burrito or something like that so disappointed. Nachos were small with flavorless chicken a taco salad usually has lettuce beans meat and cheese not these it was a half a bowl of lettuce with 6 peices of flavorless steak, paid almost $5 for a burrito which turned out to be a bean burrito with red sauce. Ordered a cold brew which had water and maybe a tablespoon of coffee. The sodas were so watered down it didn't taste like a Pepsi or a Dr pepper. Never again and I spent like $60 there so that will never happen again.
The food was ok. Ole's were over cooked and tasted like old oil. Soft shell Taco didn't have much in the inside. Chicken bowl was ok not alot of chicken on it. Over all good flavor but it wasn't real warm. Staff was friendly.
Besides the fact that I had the most terrible indigestion I've ever had for two days after eating here, and if the meat hadn't been cold, I did prefer the taste of their tacos over Taco Bell. The Mexican donuts were delicious.
The staff was loud, swearing, vulgar (we can easily hear yall in the dining room FYI) and the food was cold.
I love the super hot sauce. Good reasonable menu and everyone is always friendly.
