The food is great and the view is amazing! For people who like crispy french fries, I highly recommend the waffle fries.
Great food! Good service and prices. Sat outside and watched the water and sun and had some cold drinks! Another trip here on a friday. Beautiful day on the patio. Food and service was good.
On line menu reflects incorrect pricing!Bait & switch!Wings on menu are $11.99. Went to pick up my take out order and was charged $20.95.I understand prices are increasing on everything and a dollar or two would be understandable, but if your price increase by nearly 100%, the on line menu should be changed or at minimum, the employee taking the order should notify the customer of the increase.Poor way to treat your take out customers.Wings were good, my wife’s salad was not.Poor choice of where to spend my hard earned money!
So first off the VIEW WOW! It really is on the water. We went with my Hubby for a drive and decided to go to Fond Du Lac and he read about this place and we went for a delightful dinner! The meal I would say was very tasty indeed but maybe the portions were a little on the smallish side but that is ok for the beautiful view! Everyone knows I am a WINE gal and I was NOT disappointed with the selection plus they even had the beer mu Hubby loves!!! Worth the drive from West Allis if you wanna go for a Sunday drive!
I've never had a bad meal here -- regardless of what I ordered, I'm always pleased with the food as well as how it's prepared. This time, we ate out on the deck and the breeze from Lake Winnebago was very pleasant ( being that it was late May, it isn't excessively warm out yet so the volume of mosquitoes and lakeflies isn't insane ).We had seven ( 7 ) in our party and even with that being the case I didn't feel as if we had to wait very long. The food was very good, the portions were appropriate, the server was attentive but not smothering and the atmosphere was relaxing. All-in-all, a very enjoyable experience...kudos !! ?
We were just in for Easter Brunch. Nice spread and they kept it full, never ran out of anything. I didn't have one but heard the Bloodies are good. Only complaint was how HOT? it was Hey I get it, in area buffet was set up and crazy groups of people but YIKES! Looking forward to coming back for regular dinner. Our waitress was awesome?
Maybe they were just busy with a party on the patio... the service was, however, amazing - very good server with lots of knowledge! The food was okay - nothing special. Had the salmon with a baked potato. The mozzarella sticks were certainly good. Just had higher hopes for the overall experience.
We ate here tonight for a retirement party. There were 15 of us. The special of the night was broasted chicken. 4 of us in our group had bloody chicken. It was sent back to the kitchen. Our friends were done eating when it came out. One of us was offered a drink. No comp was given to the other 3 of us. The waitress did apologize, but in this case I would have expected some money taken off of our bill for the error of the kitchen. Maybe you should invest in a meat thermometer. We won't be eating here anytime again. Beware if you order chicken!!
We've eaten Easter brunch for 2 years now while visiting our son at college and highly recommend Sunset on the Water. Brunch can be tricky but boy they have delicious variety! Service is amazing! Very friendly and spot on with drink orders for a table of 9 and frequently checking on us. Really great establishment and highly recommend!!
Absolutely exquisite dining experience. Beautiful view of the lake. The food was fresh, and above and beyond what you would expect for such an affordable price. Staff was friendly and professional. The owner Maria was extremely accommodating, and has an addictive smile and personality. I cannot recommend this place enough.
