I always enjoy going here. The food is WONDERFUL ( you always get more than a normal-sized serving ) and the chips and salsa beforehand are VERY good. My daughter had such a large serving that we took the remainder home and I had it the next day for lunch.We've been here a number of times already and are always very pleased with the food and the service. HIGHLY recommended !P.S. -- The rice is something that my wife, daughter and I always eagerly scarf-down. ??
We have tried all the Mexican restaurant's in the area and Riviera Maya is by far the best one so far. The food is amazing with all the different flavors and seasonings, and the amount of food that they put on your plate is worth the money that you spend. Also they have a big menu, and a lot of choices to chose from. The plate always comes out looking like the picture, and it is always hot. They have a large drink section as well, rather you want an alcoholic beverage or a flavored water like the horchata. I also think that they have really good managers and employees they are always willing to make your experience better and give you the attention that you deserve. I always recommend this place over any other place.
Ordered fajitas. Plenty of food for the price, however... it had not one spec of seasoning and were chunks on meat. Frankly, it had a strong mineral flavor, like liver. I tried to add salt, no luck in turning the flavor to a pleasant flavor. Could not mask or change the flavor of the meat. So disappointed in the food. They did have great service though!
The service is excellent, the building is new and clean, but the food is completely disappointing. This is my fifth time to eat here, each time hoping it would pass as slightly above average Mexican Food, but each and every time, I wonder why I come back (maybe it's because there is hardly anywhere else to eat in town ). If you value quantity over quality, and can tolerate salt laden food that is hastily thrown together, this is the place for you. You're better off buying a Mexican cookbook and attempting the cuisine at home. The chips and salsa aren't even good, which is the easiest thing to get right.
One of the best Mexican restaurants in town! Great atmosphere. Recently remodeled with a new addition for more seating. The staff is great! Waitress checks in often to make sure everything is good. Tacos are AMAZING! Yum so good. The enchiladas oh man. There isn't one thing on the menu that isn't delicious. You won't be let down by this authentic Mexican food.
Food was good after I took it home and warmed it up because we waited over an hour to get it! Waitress never came back to our table to ask us if we wanted anything else after ordering and we had to ask where our food was.
The meal was delicious, our waitress responded immediately to our needs, and the price was right for the amount of food received. I will definitely return and I will recommend this restraunt to all.
My wife and I went for a lunch with our son and daughter-in-law. The service was very good and we all really enjoyed our food.We'll eat there again.
Food is excellent with nicely updated interior.Staff is fast and friendly which is appreciated especially during this pandemic and squeezes all of us.Prices are in line with the area with several drink specials on offer.Overall definitely worth stopping in for food (and drinks)
Food was delicious this time. They have made good changes to the food and menu it was a lot better this time. Our waiter was very kind and efficient. Aside from the price going up.. this is my favorite place to eat in town.
